Siberia has a long and frosty winter, and to make the warm spring come faster, Siberians organize a holiday called "Farewell to Winter" at the beginning of March. During the holiday, several streets are closed to traffic, and fairs and various attractions are organized there. Children are given rides on horses, ponies, and even camels.
