The Bee Gees - My Three Tune Tuesday
I loved this banner made by friend @slobberchops who authorizes anyone who likes to use it to use it freely, so I took him at his word. Thank you very much friend, I love this banner.
Three Tune Tuesday is a contest held by friend @blaze and consists of publishing 3 songs by the same artist or different ones that you like and talking about your experience of these 3 songs. Today I bring you The Bee Gees, a group made up of 3 brothers The Gibb from England.
I knew the music of the Bee Gees since I was 10 years old when I used a small radio that I used every night to listen to music and that's how I fell asleep. At that time it was the 70's, influenced by my older brother who listened to all those bands but I preferred ballads to rock.
I Started a Joke is one of the love songs that reached many of us teenagers my age, they were heard at all the house parties on the weekends.
Although I did not understand any of the language, it was what I listened to the most since music in Spanish did not attract my attention, these artists filled my heart with their soft songs and then when I began to understand the lyrics of the songs I liked them much more. which were lyrics without insinuations of sex or obscene things. All the letters were very easy to learn and the sound was very soft.
Many Hispanics learned to speak the English language because these songs are understandable and easy to pronounce.
This song is the most special for me since it talks about the death of a person who is not forgotten, who becomes immortal because of how present we have him.
It was released in 1998, but the truth is I don't remember hearing it until the death of my brother, the one who taught me to listen to music and believe in God. From there I listen to it and I feel a sadness in my soul for all the losses I have had, including my mother and something that is very true that the lyrics of the song say: They are IMMORTAL, as long as we think about them and remember them as they were. They will continue to be with us.
The Bee Gees brought music to the movies and it was a great mix. In Saturday Night Fever they participated with 6 songs: You Should Be Dancing, Stayin Alive, How Deep Is Your Love, More Than a Woman,Jive Talking and the song Soundtrack of the movie Night Fiver, where not only they became more famous but also the main actor, John Travolta, became known as a great actor.
I remember that I was studying high school and the cinema was continuous, that is, it opened from 11 in the morning, so several of us from the high school went to see the premiere of the movie, the cinema was full of students from the surrounding high schools who also They went to see the movie. Everyone came out dancing like John Travolta.
They were very healthy moments that remained engraved in my soul and I still listen to their music. I hope you liked my 3 tuesday tunes.
