¡Hola, amigos de HiveDiy!

Espero que todos estén teniendo una gran semana. Para mí ha ido bien, además de que ya solo me quedan dos días en mi hogar para luego mudarme a la que será mi nueva casa. Hace ya unos cuantos días, mi hermana, @hayleysv, me invitó a unirme a esta iniciativa de decoración de camisetas, y bueno, decidí darle un intento.

Cuando vivíamos juntas, habíamos empezado un emprendimiento de ropa, y durante ese tiempo aprendimos a pegar Vinil Textil y también a hacer algunos diseños con el sobrante del material.

Debo decir que hace más de medio año que no hacía eso, y casi olvidé como se aplicaba, pero luego de intentarlo noté que lo hice bien.

Estuve pensando por días en el diseño que quería hacerle a la camisa, pero no estaba segura. Aparte, me daba mucha risa porque se que algunos rápidamente sabrán la referencia, como hay otras personas que quizás no tengan idea (lo cual dudo).

La idea es pasar de Incógnito. Hahaha.

El tema de esta camisa es "Representación".

I hope everyone is having a great week. It's been going well for me, plus I only have two days left in my home to then moving into what will be my new home. A few days ago now, my sister, @hayleysv, invited me to join this t-shirt decorating initiative, and well, I decided to give it a try.

When we lived together, we had started a clothing venture, and during that time we learned how to glue Textile Vinyl and also how to make some designs with the leftover material.

I must say that I hadn't done that for more than half a year, and I almost forgot how to apply it, but after trying it I noticed that I did it right.

I was thinking for days about the design I wanted to do to the shirt, but I wasn't sure. Besides, it made me laugh because I know that some people will quickly know the reference, as there are others who may have no idea (which I doubt).

The idea is to go Incognito. Hahaha.

The theme of this shirt is "Representation".

Materiales:

• Camisa.
• Retazos Sobrantes de Vinil Textil.
• Tijeras.
• Color.
• Patrón.
• Plancha de ropa.
• Lápiz.

Materials:

• T-Shirt.
• Leftovers of Vinyl Textile.
• Scissors ✂️.
• Pencil color.
• Pattern.
• Iron.
• Pencil ✏️.

Paso 1: Mi primer paso fue realizar el patrón. Como no soy experta dibujando, tuve que primero hacer el boceto, y así luego plasmarlo a la camisa. Y luego lo recorté.

Step 1: My first step was to make the pattern. Since I'm not an expert at drawing, I had to first make the sketch, and then transfer it to the shirt. And then I cut it out.

Paso 2: Plasmar el dibujo en la camisa con la ayuda de un color claro y el patrón. Esto me ayudara a guiarme para tener precisión del lugar denlos apliques.

Step 2: Plot the drawing on the shirt with the help of a light color and the pattern. This will help me to guide me to be precise about the place of the appliqués.

Paso 3: Como mi dibujo eran unas tijeras, tuve que dibujarlas por parte en el sobrante del vinil textil. Cada hoja de la tijera por separada, y luego las recorté.

Step 3: As my drawing was a pair of scissors, I had to draw them separately on the leftover fabric vinyl. Each blade of the scissors separately, and then I cut them out.

Paso 4: Tuve que cuadrar bien las partes. Luego las empecé a aplicar con la ayuda de una plancha. Esta debe estar lo suficientemente caliente para que el vinil de adhiera bien a la tela de la camisa. Además, es recomendado colocar un libro o cuaderno en la parte de adentro de la camisa, así evitaremos que el vinil se pegue de la parte trasera de la misma.

Step 4: I had to square the parts well. Then I started to apply them with the help of an iron. This must be hot enough for the vinyl to adhere well to the fabric of the shirt. In addition, it is recommended to place a book or notebook on the inside of the shirt, so that the vinyl does not stick to the back of the shirt.

Paso 5: luego de pegar todas las piezas del vinil textil y asegurarnos de que estén bien adheridas, despegamos el protector.

Step 5: after gluing all the pieces of the textile vinyl and making sure they are well adhered, peel off the protector.

De esta manera, tendremos la camisa ya lista para ponernosla.
Este tal vez sea un diseño bastante simple, pero no creo que nadie se haya atrevido a hacerlo en esta iniciativa.

A casi ya medio mes del Orgullo LGBTQ, me pareció buena idea Plasmar este diseño. Y ya que soy parte del mismo, no me avergüenza usar esta camisa en lo más mínimo.

In this way, we will have the shirt ready to wear.
This may be a pretty simple design, but I don't think anyone has dared to do it in this initiative.

With LGBTQ Pride almost half a month away, I thought it was a good idea to capture this design. And since I'm part of it, I'm not ashamed to wear this shirt at all.
