What Common Sense means to me ||contest #123
Greetings everyone đź‘‹, welcome to my blog. I trust your day is going on well.
It's indeed my pleasure to share my thought on the topic “common sense”. We often hear people use the word “common sense”, “don't you have common sense “?, “use your common sense”, or “you lack common sense” statements like that are mostly used every now and then.
My Definition Of Common Sense
Common sense is the ability to use right judgement to explain or do things in a simple manner that is void of confusion and complexity.
Do All People Have Common Sense?
I believe everyone has common sense but the difference is in usage or application of it in terms of how one talks or perceives certain things. Then you begin to hear the questions as I mentioned above like “do you have common sense at all”?. That means there's a particular way the person is expected to talk or act without being told to do so or reminded which was obviously missing. Again, common sense has to do with brain that is to say that everyone has it the difference lies on how each person uses his or hers.
The 3 Things I Considered to Be Common Sense
When talking about “common sense” a lot of things come to play but as the question entails, I will narrow it down to three.
How a person talks or responds to certain simple question asked is considered as common sense..
People's Actions; how one behaves in an obioviously simple matter that is glaring and requires no fuse is considered as common sense.
How a person perceives or understands things could also be considered as common sense. To some persons it takes a whole lot of explanations and anology for them to understand a point while some other such is not required.
Why I Consider The Above Points As Common Sense.
I will have to answer this question with analogies.
Imagine asking a person who wants to get a driver's license for the first time his age and he responds “ I'm not going to let that information out”. Or one stepped on someone's feet and refused to say “I'm sorry” without being told to do so. Or again say “Thanks” when rendered a favour .
Conclusion
It's a well known fact that people see things differently and are not expected to act, talk or behave alike. It is also important to know that certain things are not supposed to be stressed or emphasized before it's being said or done, common sense tells one that. That's why the popular saying that “ common sense is not common”. For the brain to actively function one has to regularly engage in brain exercise.
As always thanks for reading🙏🤗

That's an interesting point. We can all have the same information but the way we use them is completely different.
