Hello, I've been on vacation recently, I've been resting from the pressure of study in parallel with my work, I still feel tired; however, I received the invitation from @multifacetas, I decided to participate in this nice contest #CountryJewelryContest. I was encouraged to share a project of a charm made with Miyuki 11/0 delicas in the colors Yellow, blue and red, the flag of my country Venezuela in a small heart of 2,5x2,5 cm. Using the Brick stitch technique.

The material used was acquired through a page on Instagram, more than a year ago, I had not been motivated to use it, I did not feel the necessary inspiration, and yesterday there was that spark in my mind along with my heart, a feeling impregnated with the tricolor of the flag of my homeland. Then I will give some guidelines for its realization.

Hola, hace poco estoy de vacaciones, he estado descansando de la presión del estudio en paralelo con mi trabajo, aún me siento cansada; sin embargo, recibí la invitación de @multifacetas, decidí participar en este bonito concurso #CountryJewelryContest. Me animé a compartir un proyecto de un dije realizado con delicas Miyuki 11/0 en los colores Amarillo, azul y rojo, la bandera de mi país Venezuela en un pequeño corazón de 2,5x2,5 cm. Empleando la técnica Brick stitch.

El material usado fue adquirido a través de una página en Instagram, hace más de un año, no me había motivado en utilizarlo, no sentía la inspiración necesaria, y ayer hubo esa chispa en mi mente junto a mi corazón, un sentimiento impregnado con el tricolor de la bandera de mi patria. Entonces paso a dar ciertas pautas para su realización.

The process of this jewel is very simple starting from the center. We make a row of 3 yellow, 2 blue, 1 white, 2 blue and 5 red delicas. We start the second row with the red delicas and we make a decrease, we insert more delicas following the sequence of the photo, at the end we make an increase with yellow delicas. In rows 3 we start with an increase of yellow delicas and end with a decrease of red delicas, and the fourth row starts with a decrease of red delicas and ends with an increase of yellow delicas.

El proceso de esta joya es muy sencillo comenzando por el centro. Hacemos una hilera de 3 delicas amarillas, 2 azules, 1 blanca, 2 azules y 5 rojas. Iniciamos la segunda hilera con las delicas rojas y hacemos una disminución, insertamos más demás delicas siguiendo la secuencia de la foto, al final hacemos un aumento con delicas amarillas. En las hileras 3 comenzamos con un aumento de delicas amarillas y terminamos con una disminución de delicas rojas, y la cuarta hilera empieza con una disminución de delicas rojas y termina con un aumento de delicas amarillas.

To finish the first part of the heart we alternate the increases and decreases to give it the shape.

Then we bring the yarn to the first row, in the first yellow delica. And we alternate the increases and decreases following the color sequence of the diagram, in this case the photos, until we finish the heart.

Luego llevamos el hilo a la primera hilera, en la primera delica amarilla. Y vamos alternando los aumentos y disminuciones siguiendo la secuencia de colores del diagrama, en este caso las fotos, hasta terminar el corazón.

Once the heart is finished, we go to the center, that is, we take our thread to the center and we make a ring, putting the needle in one of the delicas on one side and inserting 6 delicas, then we insert in the next delica, we pass the thread several times to make the ring stronger, and finally, with the help of tweezers we place a jewelry ring.

All the threads that are left over are passed through the whole figure, with the help of the needle, and when the excess is smaller, we cut it. This way the piece will hold more firmly.

Una vez terminado el corazón, nos vamos al centro, o sea, llevamos nuestro hilo al centro y hacemos un aro, metiendo la aguja en una de las delicas de un lado e insertando 6 delicas, luego insertamos en la siguiente delica, pasamos el hilo varias veces para que nos quede más fuerte el aro, y por último, con ayuda de pinzas colocamos un aro de joyería.

Todos los hilos que sobran, se pasan por toda la figura, con ayuda de la aguja, y cuando ya nos quede más pequeño el excedente, lo cortamos. Así la pieza agarra más firmeza.

It is noteworthy that I was given the diagram, in a Facebook community, without the process, but as I have some experience and practice, I saw that it was feasible to start the work in the central area and from there I applied the steps of the technique, and in a few minutes I saw the image of the heart and little by little the colors began to harmonize the pendant.

Each time my heart was getting excited as the motif was taking shape, taking advantage of the fact that I was alone in my house, I felt that the feeling flowed perfectly with the heart formed with each color and until I finished my work, it was quite emotional.

Es de resaltar que me obsequiaron el diagrama, en una comunidad de Facebook, sin el proceso, pero como tengo cierta experiencia y práctica, vi que era factible empezar la labor por el área central y desde allí apliqué los pasos de la técnica, y en pocos minutos vi la imagen del corazón y poco a poco los colores comenzaron armonizar el dije.

Cada vez mi corazón se emocionaba a medida que el motivo iba tomando cuerpo, aprovechando que estaba sola en mi casa, sentía que el sentimiento fluía perfectamente con el corazón formado con cada color y hasta que terminé mi obra, fue bastante emotivo.
