Cave Hermit / Devil's Cave in Red Dead Redemption 2.

Hi, I'm back with another contribution to Gaming Photography community and this time I'm going to join Gaming Photography Weekly Contest - Theme: Cave Exploration. showing and talking about cave exploration in RDR 2.

I'm glad to see my taken photo as a reference to the theme in the contest post. That's the only cave I explored till today and I thought I'd talk about multiple caves in this entry but a single cave took a lot of my times and I guess it'll enough to participate.

This is Cave Hermit AKA Devil's Cave that's into a hill at Big Valley, West Elizabeth. I wouldn't know about this cave if I was not looking for the map in Google and in YouTube.

Holding the torch, I decided to go in when it was very early in the morning like after 5 AM and before 6 AM. I was just hoping I'd not find any ghost in this cave.

Like every dark cave, it was creepy as well but I kept moving forward holding the torch. As soon as I went inside the cave, the sfx changed and I was getting creepy sounds as well.

Suddenly I noticed some lights and a hanging bridge inside the cave and seeing them, I was a little relieved that I might find peoples there, not ghost and at the same time, I had to be careful as I didn't know who might be the peoples there.

The hanging bridge started shaking when I was passing it as if somebody or some peoples were shaking if continuously. And there were those sharp tall rocks below the bridge.

After passing the bridge safely, I found two ways there and I got confused about which one to choose but as I always tries the right ones in my real life, I tried the right path first in the virtual life as well.

When I was going inside, I noticed those wall paintings and it didn't look like colors, they looked like fresh bloods. I still didn't know what evil thing I'd face in this cave.

I kept exploring and suddenly I noticed this ladder that took me a little below and I could see more lights there.

There were some dirty waters as well where I tried to wet Arthur and his legs were wet enough and suddenly I heard a voice. I was a little scared and also prepared holding my gun hearing the voice.

Then I noticed this man was talking to me. He was saying a lot of things, evil things and the main conversation was about asking me to get out of the cave. He was saying this cave is his and asked me to find my own cave and he went in the dark again. I didn't see any way to get up there.

I remembered there was a left path and I was taking that path thinking I might be able to get to that man through this path and this leaded me to this dead end where I could only jump and die and nothin else.

Now I started to see how I could climb up there through the other path but I couldn't find any way. I googled and I tried finding solution in YouTube where I noticed peoples could get up there but I just could and I almost gave up after trying for a long time.

But guess what? I suddenly climbed up there like magically. I was so glad that I could went up there, now its time to find that man, that devil.

I found his beddings and the flames there but he was not there. I noticed some paintings there on the rocks as well.

I explored the entire area but I didn't find him. I even fell from this place and I climbed up again after much hardship but he was not there. I decided to go out and come back at night as it was middle of the day and maybe he was outside.

I found him the next day at early in the morning though I had to wait there for a long time and he reached there after I did.

As it seemed like he was thinking him as devil's servant or something, I already had it in my mind that I'd kill him I get to him though I was trying to take him outside and he died in the fight.

I carried his body on my shoulder and I took it to the dead end of the left-side path and then I threw his body in the hole there.

Then I came outside and I started riding my horse and look my horse started flying. Am I blessed with extraordinary power after killing the devil's servant or what?

Here I'm finishing the post for today and I'll come talk about more special RDR 2 gaming moments in Gaming Photography.

The gif moving where camera is moving towards the cave is really amazing. Nice pictures shared from your cave exploration. Well done.
