Sunrise and Sunset.
Hi, I'm back with another contribution to Gaming Photography community and this time I'm going to join Gaming Photography Weekly Contest - Theme: Sunrise and/or Sunset showing and talking about Sunrise and Sunset from RDR 2.
This great theme comes again and I won't dare ignore this theme as I find the sunrise and sunset in RDR 2 so beautiful. I hardly checkout these moments when I do missions so its a great chance of enjoying a beautiful sunrise and an intense sunset from this virtual world.
I was at Clemens Point (our current camp) and it was about 4 am so I woke up my horse and I started riding towards the East thinking I'd enjoy the sunrise from where I have it in luck. I ended up in the swarms Bayow NWA, LE and I noticed the sun started rising.
I shot down the driver of this boat from a distance and then I drove my horse into the river and I reached the boat as Arthur can't swim well. Then I started enjoying the sunrise from there though the color of the sunrise looked like sunset at this point.
The other boat was too slow so I shot down this boat driver when I was on that other boat and then I started riding this boat through the river and that's when I noticed the sun through those big trees.
Then I noticed that I spooked this bird along with some more when I was riding near the ground level and I didn't forget to freeze the frame at the right moment. I guess I've seen this bird only at the time of sunrise.
I kept riding the boat forward while lookin for some good frames of the sunrise and then I reached the ground level and I climbed up on this big fishing boat to see the sun rising clearly.
I noticed this doggy walking around there and when I praised him, he ran to me so I adorned him.
Then I tried to check around to capture more sunrise photographs and that's when I decided to keep those things in the frame to give the photos a cool look.
When I was thinking of the sunset, all I could think of the watch tower of Van Horn so I rode there to capture some good sunset scenes while being on top of the tower.
It was the moment when my boat was sinking and I was about to die very soon so I didn't wait to capture this shot. There came some bounty hunters who shot and damaged my boat so it sunk.
With the second try, I climbed up to the watch tower and I started waiting there for the sun to set again and fortunately, I got the sunset again after dying there for once.
When the sun started setting, the color of the surrounding became yellow-ish and I noticed birds were flying towards their nests. I was just enjoying the views.
While it was not as cool as the sunset from the mountains, it has different vibes and it looked like the sun was setting in the forests.
The sun was going down so I tried for Arthur to go down as well. I actually jumped out of there thinking he might land on the river directly but he did hit the railing instead and I thought he'd die but fortunately, he survived the fall.
Here I'm finishing the post for today and I'll come talk about more special RDR 2 gaming moments in Gaming Photography.
"The screenshots are my take but properties of Red Dead Redemption 2."
What a great collection of amazing captures you got here my friend! I finally bought RDR2 with a discount, but still haven't started it yet... I am still at the first snowy area.. haven't left the place yet.. The photomode still abit odd to me, but I am learning.. Thank you for sharing this and good luck for the contest!
Thank you very much for your compliment.
Its great to know you bought the game and I hope you'll start playing it soon and enjoy every bit of it. The photo mode is too easy to crack, you just check around for some moments and you'll find it real handy.
Thanks for sharing these amazing screenshots, it's a very good game.

If there's one thing I really like, it's the lighthouses, what stunning views, the game looks so realistic it almost looks like a real life photograph, excellent job, the effort of that capture is much appreciated.

Thank you very much for the compliment. I'd capture more photos from this angle if I wouldn't drown in the river there.
