Wallace Station.

Hi, I'm back with another contribution to Gaming Photography community and this time I'm going to join Gaming Photography Weekly Contest - Theme: Cinematic Shots. showing and talking about cinematic shots in RDR 2.

The first thing I think after hearing or reading the two word "Cinematic" is the cinematic black bars which I think is essential to give anything a cinematic vibe. Even the cinematic mode and the cinematic parts of RDR 2 is covered with cinematic black bar. So, After choosing what show, I edited all the photos in Adobe Photoshop and I added a black bar of 2-35-1-aspect-ratio.

Wallace Station

Do you remember me talking about a bear hunt in the forest right before fighting some O'Driscolls? It was after that and this rail station was right beside that spot of the O'Driscolls camp. This Wallace Station was at Grizzles, AM and it was 9:37 AM in the game with 9 Degree Celsius temperature when I was visiting the station.

My horse was walking towards the station having the bear skin on the back of my horse. I was trying to show an angle of my entrance in the station.

There was this tower where I could climb up using the attached ladder and I climbed up just to show this angle and I wish there was a train at this moment.

After getting down from the water tank tower, I was walking slowly (not running) towards the station and I was walking because I wanted the angle to have a slow cinematic vibe.

Now this one you can say a drone view, a birds eye view or you can say a perfect cinematic view that I captured using the photo mode of the game and yeah, I captured all the photos I'm showing in this post using the photo mode.

I noticed two random passengers there on the station talking each other and I was walking towards them to have a chat.

I guess they're a married couple waiting for the train. Stopping there, I had a little chat with them and this is just another angle of the same situation when we were having a chat.

I was walking on the platform of the station freely when it was not crowded and I kept the passengers bench in this frame.

Now I was walking towards the station master to check on him and the train schedules. I can pay off bounty money in such station so bounty hunters won't hunt me in these regions but I never try this and I don't plan to do that too.

I went closer and started talking to him about the next train and he said the next train is not coming today as there's a problem in the rail track in Valentine (its my made up story).

This frame shows me entering the station office to explore what can be found inside.

And I found a store inside with a storekeeper from where I could buy a lot of things.

There you can see buyable items and a manual heater system inside and there are some chairs as well for passengers to take rest.

Lets take a look on the buyable items. I can buy these items by choosing like this or I can check the catalogue in front of the storekeeper and buy what I wish from there and I can sell items as well.

I tried going in the station masters room and the station master started shouting at me so I didn't go there.

Train tickets can be bought from inside as well, like from this spot. But, I'm not buying a ticket as I like to ride my horse or I can be the driver of a train as well if I wish to after hijacking one, lol.

I was coming out of the back door and this was the back of the platform and I noticed there was this place for oversized parcels.

I found wheels of train there on the back and I see they were in poor condition.

What about robbing the store keeper in cinematic style? As soon as I pointed my handgun towards him and asked him to open the cash drawer, he opened it and asked me not to shoot.

I was busy taking cash. Whooo, cash it is.

I was as leaving the store keeper after robbing him and I really liked this angle.

This man became a witness of my robbery and tried to complain to lawmen so I had to kill him in cinematic style at the door of the store.

The storekeeper locked both doors of the store after I robbed him and he was running inside from one side to another as he was too scared of the situation. I tried both door but both were locked hard from inside.

Lawmen are coming as someone else complaint about my robbing already so I should leave the station now finishing this post.
