Biscuit Sunday/Domingo de galletas (Eng/Esp)

The preparation of these biscuits is super easy, and they don't take many ingredients.
This is the recipe that one of my brothers taught me, I guess he got it from the internet.
Ingredients:

  • 2tz all-purpose flour
  • 1 tz sugar (I put 1/2 because I don't like them so sweet)
  • 1 tz oat flakes
  • 1/4 tz oil
  • 1 egg
    It is not necessary to knead a lot, with the help of a spoon you can make all the ingredients come together, it is not a smooth mixture, it is really thick and loose, but with your hand you help to unite the ingredients more.
    This type of biscuits are not uniform, so if you expect to have a round biscuit this recipe will not work for you because the oat flakes make them form irregularly.

Después de una semana llena de trabajo, pagos, cuentas y demás... por fin llegó el fin de semana para descansar y compartir con nuestros seres queridos, en mi caso solo con mi hijo porque toda mi familia está en Venezuela.... Hoy domingo después de hacer el almuerzo, porque es domingo de ver películas en la cama, preparé unas galletas para disfrutar con un rico café.
La preparación de estas galletas es súper fácil, y no llevan muchos ingredientes.
Esta es la receta que me enseñó uno de mis hermanos, supongo que la sacó de internet.
Ingredientes:
2tz de harina para todo uso
1 tz de azúcar (yo puse 1/2 porque no me gustan tan dulces)
1tz de copos de avena
1/4 tz de aceite
1 huevo
Precalentar el horno a 170ºC, y hornear por 10 minutos
No es necesario amasar mucho, con la ayuda de una cuchara puedes hacer que todos los ingredientes se unan, no es una mezcla lisa, la verdad es muy espesa y suelta, pero con la mano ayudas a unir más los ingredientes.
Este tipo de galletas no quedan uniformes, así que si esperas tener una galletas redonditas esta receta no te funcionará pues las hojuelas de la avena hace que se formen de manera irregular .
Me gustan porque no pasan mucho tiempo en el horno, basta con 10 minutos y estarán listas para comerlas, son ricas fáciles de hacer y nutritivas por la avena jaja 🤣🤣

Estas galletas son muy sabrosas, e ideales para tomar con café recién hecho, como a mi me gusta.
Con estos ingredientes hago unas 20 galletas dependiendo de lo grandes o pequeñas que las quieras, yo las hago medianas.
La masa es estupenda para añadirle otro ingrediente como pepitas de chocolate, también están deliciosas. Siempre hay que tener en cuenta que la masa no es uniforme y bastante áspera por la avena hojaldrada, pero lo importante es que son sabrosas y al hornearlas quedan bastante blandas.
Después de 10 minutos en el horno están listos para sacar, enfriar y disfrutar, también hay que tener en cuenta a la hora de hornear el horno que se utiliza, en mi caso lo hago en un horno eléctrico, supongo que en un horno de gas la cocción es más rápida
A mi me encantan, a veces ni las dejo enfriar, así me las como.

Mucha gente añade pasas, pero a mí no me gustan las pasas, así que prefiero solo avena o chispas de chocolate.
Yo no los hago demasiado dulces porque queda mejor con café, pero el nivel de dulzor es al gusto de cada uno.
Yo suelo hacerlas dos veces por semana, a mi hijo le gustan mucho, por eso se acaban rápido, bueno en realidad el mismo día.
De vez en cuando los fines de semana hago algún tipo de postre, para disfrutarlo con mi hijo cuando descansamos viendo nuestra serie favorita, esos momentos que debemos aprovechar, porque el tiempo vuela y no vuelve.
Otra alternativa a estas galletas es agregarle un puré de plátano, además de todos los ingredientes que ya te he mencionado, estos son ideales para poner en la lonchera de los consentidos de la casa.
Los hago desde que mi hijo era niño, bueno en realidad los hacía mi hermano mayor y a mi padre y a mi hijo les encantaban, así que aprendí a hacerlos aunque al principio no eran muy buenos, pero para mi papá todo lo que preparaba era exquisito, jaja hermoso mi viejo querido.
Desde que vine al Perú, y cuando llegó mi hijo, comencé a perfeccionarlos cada vez más, y la verdad es que ahora están riquísimos, igual que las tortas.
Precisamente en el momento en que escribo este post estoy disfrutando de mis deliciosas y nutritivas galletas con un café recién hecho y bien caliente.
