Hola, amante del arte es Splinterlands

Otra oportunidad para participar y aprender con el magnífico concurso de esta grandiosa comunidad, mi cuarta vez al ruedo. Recuerdo el primer personaje que hice hace casi un mes, y lo comparo con este que hoy les presento, y veo mi avance. No muy rápido, pero sin pausa.

Por los momentos, me centro en dominar las técnicas del boceto y el delineado. Cada día estoy más suelto sobre la tableta, pero aún me siento en pañales con el coloreado y el uso adecuado de sobras y luces.

Intento capturar las posturas y los gestos de los personajes. Si bien, están lejos de los retratos reales, por ser personajes tipo anime, me sirven para acercarme a las metas que me he planteado: ser un ilustrador para mis propias obras de ficción.

En esta ocasión, elegí a Kha’zi Fire Mage. ¿Por qué? Simple. Me llamó la atención su actitud facial y postura combativa. Al ser un aficionado a la cuentística, también me surge la duda de cuál será la historia que la anima en el juego. Les soy honesto, aunque he buscado información sobre cada carta con la cual me he inspirado para aprender a dibujar, no he sido capaz de hallar dentro del sitio de Splinterlands en donde narren o den detalles de los personajes. Admito mi ignorancia.

Another opportunity to participate and learn in the magnificent contest of this great community, my fourth time in the ring. I remember the first character I made almost a month ago, and I compare it with the one I presented to you today, and I see my progress. Not very fast, but without pause.

At the moment, I'm focusing on mastering the techniques of sketching and outlining. Every day I'm looser on the tablet, but I'm still in diapers with coloring and the proper use of leftovers and lights.

I try to capture the postures and gestures of the characters. Although they are far from real portraits because they are anime-like characters, they help me to get closer to the goals I have set for myself: to be an illustrator for my fictional works.

On this occasion, I chose Kha'zi Fire Mage. Why? Simple. I was struck by her facial attitude and combative stance. Being a fan of storytelling, I also wonder what the story that animates her in the game will be. I'll be honest, although I have searched for information about each card that inspired me to learn how to draw, I have not been able to find within the Splinterlands site where they narrate or give details of the characters. I admit my ignorance.
