Hola, amante del arte en Splinterlands

El tiempo vuela, ya estamos en febrero, acercándonos a los carnavales. Esta es mi quinta entrada al concurso de arte de esta hermosa comunidad. Suele decirse que no hay quinto malo. Aunque para mí, todos mis entradas al concurso ha sido más que bueno: han sido magníficas.

Recrear, a mi manera y sin alejarme mucho del concepto, los personajes de las cartas del juego es muy gratificante. De cierta forma, me permite explorar el juego en sí, sin haberlo jugado. Claro, no descarto esa posibilidad, en convertirme en un jugador novato, pero por los momentos estoy muy enfocado en aprender las técnicas de ilustración.

Para esta semana, elegí a Djinn Renova. En especial, porque quería probar el darle textura no solo al personaje, sino también al fondo. Por muy fácil que parezca, el dar textura a los dibujos implica, en mi caso, un aprendizaje por ensayo y error. Así no seas muy duro conmigo en este particular.

Time flies, we are already in February, approaching carnivals. This is my fifth entry to the art contest of this beautiful community. It is often said there is no bad fifth. Although all my entries to the contest have been more than good for me: those have been magnificent.

Recreating, in my way and without straying too far from the concept, the characters of the game cards are advantageous. In a way, it allows me to explore the game itself, without having played it. Of course, I don't rule out the possibility of becoming a novice player, but I'm currently very focused on learning illustration techniques.

For this week, I chose Djinn Renova. Especially, because I wanted to try giving texture not only to the character but also to the background. As easy as it may seem, texturing drawings involves, in my case, learning by trial and error. So don't be too hard on me in this particular.
