Mi Cascanueces Amigurumi Protector / My Nutcracker Amigurumi Guardian (Esp/Eng)

Hoy quiero compartir el pequeño cascanueces que tejí en crochet. Hace poco publiqué mi primer post para esta comunidad y me enteré del concurso un poco después, así que decidí crear este muñequito. Aunque no tuve mucho tiempo para terminarlo por mi trabajo ,de todas formas lo logré.

Al tejer en crochet, siempre quedan sobras de hilos de diferentes colores, acumulándose sin un uso específico. Este proyecto lo creé utilizando esos hilos de algodón que sobraron de otros proyectos.

Greetings to the entire Hive Diy community. Today, I want to share the little crochet nutcracker I made. I recently posted my first entry for this community and learned about the contest shortly after, so I decided to create this little doll. Although I didn't have time to finish it due to my work, I still managed to do it.

When crocheting, there are always leftover threads of different colors, accumulating without a specific purpose. I created this project using those cotton threads left over from other projects.

I also want to invite @alejandralita and @sindetalles, even though there's no time left for their projects 😢, they can visit other users to show support 😉.

Materiales / Materials

• Crochet de 0.6 mm
• Tijeras
• Ojos de seguridad
• Algodón sintético
• Pegamento

• White cotton thread
• Gray-blue cotton thread
• Red cotton thread
• Yellow cotton thread
• Black cotton thread
• Skin-colored cotton thread
• 0.6 mm crochet hook
• Scissors
• Safety eyes
• Synthetic cotton
• Glue

Comencé haciendo las piernas del cascanueces con hilo negro y luego cambié a color blanco, seguido de dos hileras con este color. Continué en espiral con puntos bajos y aumentos hasta terminar las piernas.

I started by making the nutcracker's legs with black thread and then switched to white, followed by two rows in this color. I continued in a spiral with single crochet stitches and increases until the legs were complete.

Luego, tejí el torso del muñeco con hilo rojo, haciendo varias hileras de puntos bajos. En la penúltima hilera, realicé una secuencia de 4 puntos bajos y 2 disminuciones x6. Después, cambié a hilo amarillo y realicé solo puntos bajos.

Then, I crocheted the doll's torso with red thread, creating several rows of single crochet stitches. In the penultimate row, I executed a sequence of 4 single crochet stitches and 2 decreases repeated 6 times. After that, I switched to yellow thread and continued with only single crochet stitches.

La cabeza y el sombrero los hice tambien en espiral empezando por:
un anillo mágico y 6 puntos bajos.
6 aumentos
Una secuencia de 1 punto bajo y 1 aumento x6
Una secuencia de 2 puntos bajos y 1 aumento
Una secuencia de 3 puntos bajos y 1 aumento
Una secuencia de 4 puntos bajos y 1 aumento
Una secuencia de 5 puntos bajos y 1 aumento
Una secuencia de 6 puntos bajos y 1 aumento
Ya después toco hacer disminuciones.

En cuanto al sombrero, seguí exactamente el mismo procedimiento, pero añadí una fila con la secuencia de 9 puntos bajos y 1 aumento, luego continué con 10 filas de puntos bajos exclusivamente. La última fila la tejí con hilo amarillo, y además, realicé cadenas que se transformaron en un detalle que le proporcionó más personalidad al sombrero.

I made the head and the hat in a spiral, starting with:
a magic ring and 6 single crochet stitches.
6 increases
A sequence of 1 single crochet and 1 increase repeated 6 times
A sequence of 2 single crochet stitches and 1 increase
A sequence of 3 single crochet stitches and 1 increase
A sequence of 4 single crochet stitches and 1 increase
A sequence of 5 single crochet stitches and 1 increase
A sequence of 6 single crochet stitches and 1 increase
Then, it was time to make decreases.

As for the hat, I followed exactly the same procedure, but added a row with the sequence of 9 single crochet stitches and 1 increase. I then continued with 10 rows of exclusively single crochet stitches. The last row I crocheted with yellow thread, and additionally, I made chains that became a detail, giving the hat more personality.

La etapa final implicó ensamblar los brazos, los cuales también tejí en espiral, junto con la cabeza y el sombrero. Incorporé ojos de seguridad y adherí el bigote. La confección del bigote resultó bastante simple: tejí 12 cadenas, alternando entre 2 puntos bajos, 2 medios puntos altos y 1 punto alto. Luego, separé con un punto deslizado y repetí la secuencia, iniciando esta vez con el punto alto. Agregué toques decorativos utilizando hilo amarillo tanto en el sombrero como en el torso.
Casi me olvidaba del cabello, el que fuí poniendo hebra por hebra.

The final step involved assembling the arms, which I also crocheted in a spiral, along with the head and the hat. I added safety eyes and glued on the mustache. Creating the mustache was quite straightforward: I made 12 chains with a sequence of 2 single crochet stitches, 2 half double crochet stitches, and 1 double crochet stitch. I separated with a slip stitch and repeated the same sequence, starting this time with the double crochet stitch. I added details with yellow thread both on the hat and the torso.
