Expo Comic Press Conference
Yesterday, Thursday, the press conference of Expo Comic Venezuela was held.
Ayer jueves se celebró la rueda de prensa de la Expo Comic Venezuela.
This weekend the third edition of the Expo Cómic Venezuela will take place. Once again the venue will be the Arena Plaza Shopping Center, located in the east of the city of Barquismeto.
I arrived early to the press conference, when the stands and chairs were still being set up. At four o'clock in the afternoon the press conference began, when the entire organizing committee took the stage to tell all the representatives of the media, journalists, traditional and digital media, everything they have prepared for this two-day event.
Este fin de semana se realizará la tercera edición de la Expo Cómic Venezuela. Una vez más el escenario será el Centro Comercial Arena Plaza, ubicado en el este de la ciudad de Barquismeto.
Llegué temprano a la rueda de prensa, cuando aún estaban acomodando los stands y las sillas. A las cuatro de la tarde comenzó la rueda de prensa, cuando todo el comité organizador subió a la tarima para contarle a todos los representantes de los medios de comunicación, periodistas, medios tradicionales y digitales, todo lo que tienen preparado para estos dos días de evento.
The event has grown and this year they have made important alliances. José, president of the organizing committee, was the first to take the floor to welcome attendees and announce the surprises in store for this third edition.
Special guests, artists, cartoonists, as well as national cosplayers, El Doble de Loki, who was there last year. Also Joselin Nacimineto, a very talented cosplayer from Venezuela, will be back in this edition and brings a new coplay that will be a surprise, although she has advanced some things in her social networks.
proenza, who cosplays Captain America, is another special guest. The other members of the team who were on the podium were taking the floor, to explain that there will be a children's area for children to enjoy, as it is a family event. There will also be a VIP area for those who want to get those passes to participate in a raffle for a dinner with the winners. A food area for people to enjoy within the event space without having to leave the facilities, although in the mall there are also places to eat .....
El evento ha crecido y este año han realizado importantes alianzas. José, presidente del comité organizador, fue el primero en tomar la palabra para dar la bienvenida a los asistentes y anunciar las sorpresas que depara esta tercera edición.
Invitados especiales, artistas, caricaturistas, así como cosplayers nacionales, El Doble de Loki, quien estuvo el año pasado. También Joselin Nacimineto, una cosplayer muy talentosa de Venezuela, estará de regreso en esta edición y trae un nuevo coplay que será una sorpresa, aunque ha adelantado algunas cosas en sus redes sociales.
proenza, quien hace cosplays del Capitán América, es otra invitada especial. Los demás miembros del equipo que estaban en el podio fueron tomando la palabra, para explicar que habrá una zona infantil para que los niños disfruten, ya que es un evento familiar. También habrá una zona VIP para los que quieran conseguir esos pases para participar en un sorteo de una cena con los ganadores. Una zona de comida para que la gente pueda disfrutar dentro del espacio del evento sin tener que salir de las instalaciones, aunque en el centro comercial también hay lugares de comida ....

There were some small booths of participating stores, as well as banners of other brands participating in the event. netplus, the internet service company, is one of the sponsors since the first edition.
The event's cosplay parade will be open to everyone who wants to participate. It will not be a contest, just a catwalk, whoever shows up with a cosplay, will have two minutes to go on stage and make a brief performance of the character.
Había algunos pequeños stands de tiendas participantes, así como pancartas de otras marcas que participan en el evento. netplus, la empresa de servicios de internet, es uno de los patrocinadores desde la primera edición.
El desfile de cosplay del evento estará abierto a todos los que quieran participar. No será un concurso, sólo una pasarela, quien se presente con un cosplay, tendrá dos minutos para subir al escenario y hcer un breve performance del personaje
The press conference was attended by The Batman from Barquisimeto, who has a foundation for charity work. To liven up the afternoon, the musical group Yemete Kudasai was presented and the dance group Odc Dance performed a flashy show of “El juego del Calamar” (the squid game).
A la rueda de prensa asistió El Batman de Barquisimeto, quien tiene una fundación para hacer obras de caridad. Para amenizar la tarde se presentó el grupo musical Yemete Kudasai y el grupo de baile Odc Dance realizó un llamativo show de «El juego del Calamar».
After the press conference, the media had individual interviews with the organizers and the accreditations were handed out. Now there are only a few hours left for the Expo Comic, I hope to be able to attend and bring you next week all the details of the event.
Tras finalizar la rueda de prensa, los medios realizaron entrevistas individuales con los organizadores y se entregaron las acreditaciones. Ahora solo quedan unas horas para la Expo Comic, espero poder asistir y traerles la semana que viene todos los detalles del evento.

Que lindo organizado, las pancartas, los stand con un montón de cosas, cuanto color! Me encanta que el evento sea familiar y haya un espacio para los niños. Los participantes deben estar super emocionados porque ya comience y no puedo dejar de decirlo... que genial el Batman!!! Para cuando el disfraz? Debes estar esperando también llegue ese momento.
