Learning is a journey
The quest for knowledge prompted me to invest more in knowledge, which led to my buying so many courses. It was going to lead me to the money I thought I had been imagining having. I didn't buy the first course I bought. It was an affiliate marketing course. I got overwhelmed knowing people who succeeded in that aspect of business.

To be overwhelmed is ok, but when it is deep inside me, I begin to give so many excuses to justify my actions. People made money by being middlemen for a product. They bring in customers who pay for the product, and they earn through commission. I understood how the process works, but it was difficult for me to even make one sale. I concluded by thinking it was luck just to justify my actions, but so many people work really hard to succeed in the affiliate business. Weeks and months passed. I should be celebrating my 4-year anniversary of being unproductive with my affiliate business. The hard truth is that nobody celebrates failure, but rather success. It was one of the hardest courses for me to pull through and navigate. The time and money were gone.
That's not it; living life in Nigeria will surely make you a source for a way. I thought of so many ways to add up, at least to provide for my basic needs and survive. I prioritize my LinkedIn account, making sure I post each day. I joined so many groups, read lots of posts, and made friends. It was just a regular routine. One day I stumbled into a girl's post. Her name is Nancy. I read her post, and it was so educational, even though the story line bore down to the digital product she was selling. She was an affiliate marketer. I felt guilty about why I didn't at least try my best to succeed.
I commented on her post, and we had a conversation. We exchanged numbers, and we started chatting on WhatsApp. I go through her story each day on her status, but I just couldn't pay for the course she was selling. I was scared it was a scam. You won't blame me; I have been scammed countless times. Long story short, I bought the course, and it was worth it.
Six months down the drain, I tried every day to implement whatever I learned from the ghostwriting course, but nothing was coming from it. Another waste of money. Still trying on the same course, I went ahead and bought a video editing course, and that was the one I could navigate through. I took the classes so seriously that each day I had to make a video for practice. It was worth it. I had so many challenges, though, but I pulled through them. I made sure I practiced and showed up every day, even though I didn't feel like it sometimes. I opened up a Fiverr account just to make some money from my skills.
Back to my ghostwriting course I bought from the affiliate marketer,I gave up on trying over and over again. I saw so many people succeed in the course, but I didn't. It was draining. I read lots of books, did lots of research just to improve in some areas, and was patient. I think this patient dog reward should be given to me. I succeeded in it with just a particular book I wrote without giving it much consideration, and it was accepted.
My journey through improving my skills and navigating through them was not easy for me. It took me lots of patience, consistency, and dedication just to succeed. Making money is not an easy road; something must be sacrificed just to pull through. For me, it was my time, attention, and focus.
This year, I am just focusing on writing and my marketing course. These courses will be enough for now.

Affiliation marketing is not an easy one, I commend your patience and commitment, I also got a course on KDP for smart phone. I have burnt data, burnt night candles, spent sleepless night practicing and nothing was forth coming. I publish some books and to date, there was no order. I won't lie, I got discouraged and I kept the course aside and went for others.
Learning requires patience too, thanks for sharing this with us
I don't really know much about Amazon. But I know it requires patience and persistence. I see alot of people succeed from it and I will love to know more about it.
