The things that annoy me
I am a human, and no matter how much we humans try to live simply, happily, and void of dislikes and hatred, there are just some things we cannot fit into our body system or lifestyle because we hate them, dislike them, and they annoy us. I have so many things that annoy me, and in response to this article, I'll be mentioning three of them, and they are as follows:
People chewing gum and making noise with it:
In my country, Nigeria, this attitude is very common among ladies, which I think is one of the ways they use to feel good. They chew the gum and make irritating sounds with their tongues. It is not just the sound from chewing, no, they turn the gum into a balloon in their mouth and blow it loudly. This thing annoys me so badly.
I recently experienced this, just two days ago, and I felt like screaming at the lady to stop it, at least until she was alone. But I did not want to embarrass the lady, who is a bit elderly. Only God knows what kind of fun she was having while doing that, not knowing she was in the midst of people and should stop or at least control herself. It is so annoying.
Multiple calls without breaks:
It annoys me a lot when someone calls my phone repeatedly without intervals. I am among those who follow the ethics of calling twice and stopping if the person does not pick up, and I would only call multiple times if it is an emergency. This is how I make calls too, and I expect anyone calling me to follow this pattern and not give me “20 missed calls” in the space of 5 minutes.
Anytime I see that “10 missed call” notification boldly on my phone, I get irritated quickly, and I can only be calmed down if it is from family and it is an emergency.
If I get a call and I am with my phone but refuse to pick up, the caller, after calling twice, should know that I am not ready to answer and they should respect that. Also, calling multiple times is not a way of making someone pick up when the person is away. Just two calls are enough.
People that talk loudly in a public bus:
Have you ever entered a public bus, and someone starts making a phone call, talking aloud at the top of their voice? That thing irritates me a lot, in fact, I take instant offense when such a thing starts happening.

It is not just people making calls, also those who talk loudly in public places and do not know how to control their voices. Those loud voices and sounds disturb my ears, they sound so weird, and I just feel like I need a way to chase them away.
Thank You!

The one about chewing gum, I do it actually. It's more of a subconscious act on my part and because of that, I like to stay away from chewing gum.
