The weird technology I think it's in existence already

Whenever I'm watching a sci-fi movie, one of the things I look out for is the advanced technology used. Most times, I find myself already believing in the existence of most of the fictional technological displays in the movies.

The technology where chips are planted into human brains and they are being controlled with remotes like robots is the one I believe already exists in real life, but it is either hidden or not yet approved for public use.

This particular technological and scientific display is so common in movies, and I think with how frequently it appears, it should already exist, perhaps concealed or being practiced secretly in some countries.

In case you do not understand the exact technology and science I am referring to, let me break it down and point out some scenarios.
You must have seen movies where a man is captured and placed either in a highly equipped hospital or just in a cubicle containing the necessary equipment. The person’s head is opened, and a chip is planted inside. After the doctors or surgeons are done and the person has healed, he becomes controllable by someone handling the source or remote linked to the chip. Most times, this is done in movies to send specially controlled soldiers to war, where they no longer operate by their own mind or intelligence but by the artificial one planted in them.

At the end of such movies, there are usually repercussions, either the chip gets tired, becomes faulty, or malfunctions, and the person it was implanted in gets out of control.

I believe this is already in existence and is being used by wealthy individuals, especially those with negative records who are also very influential. They hire bodyguards and soldiers to protect them at all costs, and these security personnel seem willing to die for their sake. I think that is not ordinary. It is possible that these bodyguards and soldiers have had their brains altered artificially. Otherwise, I constantly wonder why there are truly people out there who are willing to defend and die for "evil" people. Take our politicians as an example: the way their bodyguards secure them, even when they know these politicians are corrupt and working against the people, makes me think that those bodyguards are not in their right senses. Either their minds have been compromised through diabolical means or through this chip-planting technology in their brains.

Maybe I am thinking too far, but that is exactly what I am saying. I think this science and technology we see in movies already exists, and a few people are secretly using it.
