Los druidas curanderos (esp/eng)
Esta es mi entrada al Concurso de literatura creativa. Edición # 9, organizado por @gornat. Cabe aclarar que todo esto que escribo es mera fantasia.

La joven Teodora siempre fue muy amada y querida por sus familiares. Ella viene de un largo linaje de Druidas en medio del bosque los cuales siempre se han dedicado a sanar a los viajeros y ayudar a las personas de los pueblos aledaños. Su mansión queda en medio del bosque y muchas criaturas viven a sus alrededores para protegerlos.
Ella usaba siempre una capa roja que la protegía del sol, lamentablemente ella había nacido con una terrible enfermedad o maldición que le impedía estar frente al sol por mucho tiempo, así que esta capa la ayudaba a transportase cuando debía salir en el sol, trataba de no hacerlo, pero si había alguna emergencia ella salía a ayudar. Las ironías de la vida es que toda esta familia de druidas podía sanar cualquier enfermedad menos la que tenía Teodora.
Un día el jefe del pueblo cercano fue mordido por una serpiente voladora que rondaba por el lugar, estas serpientes siempre aterrorizan los cielos de todos los reinos, pero muy rara vez atacan humanos, y es debido a que no les gusta juntarse con los humanos. Pero en una serie de eventos, la serpiente fue herida en sus alas por cazadores y al caer, justamente le cayó al jefe del pueblo, entrando en un estado de coma inmediato.
Al llegar esta noticia, la única que estaba disponible era Teodora, ya que sus hermanos y familia se encontraban atendiendo otros casos en otras regiones del continente, por lo que la druida tuvo que salir a atender este caso. Tomo su capa roja y se transformó en un lagarto. ella empezó su viaje en forma de lagarto con su capa cubriéndola, iba lo más rápido que podía sin tirar su capa. Finalmente llegó al lugar y empleando algunas medicinas y hechizos mágicos, pudo recuperar al jefe y los moradores quedaron muy agradecidos.
Esperó a que oscureciera para regresar a casa, el trayecto fue bastante normal, sin embargo, había olvidado que cada 15 días, la noche se pelea con el día y esto ocasiona que la noche se rebele dejando más tiempo al sol. Por lo que al comenzar a salir el sol nuevamente, Teodora agarro su capa y al querérsela poner, un fuerte viento mando a volar esta capa llevándola al pie de la mansión de los druidas. El sol dio directamente sobre Teodora, pero no ocurrió nada, al parecer su maldición se había roto hace mucho tiempo, pero debido a que nunca intento averiguarlo, siempre vivió con ese miedo al sol, cuando pudo haber vivido plenamente hace muchos años.
Al final llegó a casa y sus familiares al llegar descubrieron todo y la familia prospero, siguieron ayudando a todos hasta el final de los días y todos fueron felices, y cuando algo malo ocurría, ya no esperaban, sino que investigaban si ya podían arreglarlo o no.

Young Teodora was always very loved and cherished by her family. She comes from a long lineage of Druids in the middle of the forest who have always dedicated themselves to healing travelers and helping the people of the surrounding towns. Their mansion is in the middle of the forest and many creatures live around them to protect them.
She always wore a red cape that protected her from the sun, unfortunately she had been born with a terrible disease or curse that prevented her from being in front of the sun for a long time, so this cape helped her carry herself when she had to go out in the sun, she tried to not to do it, but if there was an emergency she would go out and help. The ironies of life are that this entire family of druids could heal any illness except the one Theodora had.
One day the head of the nearby town was bitten by a flying snake that was roaming around the place. These snakes always terrorize the skies of all the kingdoms, but they very rarely attack humans, and it is because they do not like to hang out with humans. But in a series of events, the snake was wounded in its wings by hunters and when it fell, it fell on the village chief, entering an immediate coma.
When this news arrived, the only one who was available was Teodora, since her brothers and family were attending to other cases in other regions of the continent, so the druid had to go out to attend to this case. He took his red cape and transformed into a lizard. She began her journey in lizard form with her cape covering her, she went as fast as she could without throwing away her cape. Finally he arrived at the place and using some medicines and magical spells, he was able to recover the chief and the residents were very grateful.
He waited until it got dark to return home, the journey was quite normal, however, he had forgotten that every 15 days, the night fights with the day and this causes the night to rebel, leaving more time in the sun. So when the sun began to rise again, Theodora grabbed her cloak and when she wanted to put it on, a strong wind sent this cloak flying, taking it to the foot of the druids' mansion. The sun shone directly on Teodora, but nothing happened, apparently her curse had been broken a long time ago, but because she never tried to find out, she always lived with that fear of the sun, when she could have lived fully many years ago.
In the end he arrived home and when his relatives arrived they discovered everything and the family prospered, they continued to help everyone until the end of the days and everyone was happy, and when something bad happened, they no longer waited, but rather they investigated whether they could fix it or not. No.
