Hello, hello, photogenic hivers.

An acquaintance of mine invited me to an event she was organising in an institution in the city, it was based on a "cultural meeting" where there would be different presentations full of a lot of diversity.

I share with you some pictures from here of two of the presentations that I liked the most, one was about a very typical dance of the area where they use costumes with very wide skirts that are intended to be completely open like a fan and add visual effects to the presentation.

In my hometown I have seen typical dances from that area (and I have recreated them on more than one occasion) but the use of whips is not included over there. I wonder if it is also common in the Western Venezuela or the opposite.

P.S: I have to admit that the picture of the chicha looks very Venezuelan.

Hola, hola, hivers fotogénicos.

Una conocida me invitó a un evento que estaba organizando en una institución de la ciudad, era basado en un "Encuentro cultural" dónde habrían distintas presentaciones llenas de mucha diversidad.

Les comparto unas fotos de acá de dos de las presentaciones que me gustaron más, una era sobre un baile muy típico de la zona donde se usan trajes con faldas muy anchas que tienen la intención de ser completamente abierta como un abanico y agregar efectos visuales a la presentación.

En mi pueblo natal he visto danzas típicas de esa zona (y las he recordado en más de una ocasión) pero el uso de mandadores no está incluído por allá. Me pregunto si en occidente es también común o todo lo contrario.

P.D: Tengo que admitir que la foto de la chicha se ve bien venezolana.
