Changes that impacted my life | LOH #190 contest week

Greetings ladies, life definitely makes us all go through unexpected changes, I believe that none of us are the exception, there is always something that marks us or transforms us

Changes are inevitable but sometimes we find it difficult to adapt to them. Was there a circumstance or a sudden change that impacted your life, routine, or lifestyle? How did you deal with it? Did you have a hard time? Please share the story.

When I was in university, starting what would be my third year, I decided that I needed to work because I wanted to have my own things and stop being a burden on my mother, I got a job in the area I was studying, I started saving and I had in mind to move to an apartment, I had already planned several things and researched the cost of everything I would have to spend and I was ready to accept that, and still be able to enjoy a little of my money on some outings or anything else I wanted, I was very happy to become independent and the following year the worst economic crisis in the history of my country fell, my savings were reduced to nothing and I went like water looking for where to buy food for my family. There was a crisis, a shortage of food, later problems with electricity, drinking water, an entire country collapsed. In those difficult times I learned about microtasks and I spent up to 12 hours on the PC to be able to have weekly money and buy food, I moved up the ladder and changed jobs, the best were ones where I had to help identify objects to help fine-tune the AI, they were the best paid, I did not invest as much time as before and the profits were very good, and in fact I saved little by little, so 4 years passed and I made the decision to leave the country, I almost ran away, I felt that my life was It happened while I was looking for drinking water or waiting for the electricity to come back on so I could continue working, when there were more than 12 hours without electricity I became desperate because it was 1 day lost from work that would affect the food for that week, I left the country and it is not easy but I'm not going through hardships like before, it's been 3 and a half years since here. That is almost 8 years since all that happened, where my life took a 180° turn and everything was left from head to toe. A part of me still thinks that they stole my dreams and the beginning of my adulthood, I feel that it is in this year 2024 that I have begun to heal, try to go out and enjoy without feeling guilty. Even all these changes are noticeable in my body, before I was quite thin because of all the sacrifices and stress I had to go through to survive.

Some women cut their own hair not mainly to save money but because they find fun in doing it. Have you ever done it yourself? How did it turn out? Would you do it again?

I have had many haircuts, as a teenager I did something crazy and cut the entire front part that included from the ears like a mushroom and the back part was long, I never took photos of that because it was the worst thing I did in my life. After that, I went to the hairdresser once a week and regularly cut my hair. Over a period of 2 years I noticed that my hair was always the same length. Note that I always only cut the ends. It was right at that moment that I stopped going to the hairdresser and started cutting it myself and in a year I saw the difference, it was longer and after that I decided that I wanted it short to the shoulders and for that I went to a professional, After that I continued with my routine of continuing to cut the ends myself and it grew super long in 3 years, after that I had a breakup that left me devastated and I changed the color of my hair and unfortunately I had to cut it quite a bit because it looked mistreated until today that I have recovered it.

¿Lo has hecho alguna vez tú misma?

Economic collapse could be the worst change to experience and you've done a great deal to get through it. I wish you the best as you move on from that nightmare.

It's cool that you trim your hair at times. Looks like you always had your hair long, it's beautiful❤️

That crisis haunts my nightmares, lol. And with regard to my hair, yes, since one day I decided to cut it myself, it has always been long

I am very glad that you are recovering after such a long time suffering from the hardships that our country has experienced, I think that most of us share your feelings, we have lost many things but the desire to move forward and improve ourselves is still intact for many.
Good luck and best wishes! ☺️
