I remember that in my house there was a small store and my mother would reward me with things on certain days but we had a special moment. Just when I arrived from school, after I learned the way and could return home alone, I almost ran until I got home, my school hour ended at 5:00 pm, in the meantime walking quickly I arrived at my house before 5:30 pm because at that time on the Disney channel they were showing Art Attack and it was a series that I watched with my mother and when the series was about to start she let me have something from the store, a salty snack and a drink. I always chose a plantain chips and 7up, that became a routine, it was our time for both

Tell us about one thing you learned from your mother or sister or a female neighbour that she didn't teach you directly.

I learned to cook from my mother but she didn't teach me directly and I didn't see it from the internet either. As a child I always admired my mother in the kitchen, I was always there watching and I wanted to imitate everything she managed to do, although she wouldn't let me but I wanted to experiment so much that I remember one day I took advantage of the moment when she went to work (I was already a teenager) and I started experimenting following all her steps, even I was surprised by what turned out and this is going to sound very strange but it is very strange when something does not turn out as I imagine in the kitchen, those occasions have been very rare, so much so that I don't even remember them. I always give the credit to her, because I remember the flavors of my mother's food and I try to look for that flavor. One good thing I have is that I remember what everything I have tried tastes like and in my mind I imagine it as has been prepared.
