Sunset and leap years? | LOH #174 contest week
Last week has been a week of battles, I am fighting with myself, sometimes I want to stop doing something and somehow I remember that I promised myself to focus and be constant, and that reason leads me to be here again.
La semana pasada ha sido una semana de batallas, estoy luchando conmigo misma, a veces quiero dejar de hacer algo y de alguna forma recuerdo que me prometí a mi misma enfocarme y ser constante, y ese motivo me lleva a estar aquí de nuevo.

I like the sunset because it's the only one I can see, lol. I have rarely been able to admire the sunrise because here it occurs between 5:30 - 6:00 am and at that time I am still sleeping. I saw it once on the beach because I was up all night, we did some kind of camping trip and I stayed up with 2 other friends. On the contrary, I can see the sunset and I can plan to go to the beach to see it. I have several photos that I have already posted here but I will still share them again.

A mí me gusta el sunset porque es el único que puedo llegar a ver, lol. Pocas veces he podido admirar el amanecer porque aquí ocurre en un lapso de 5:30 - 6:00 am y a esa hora estoy aún durmiendo. Una vez lo ví en la playa porque estuve despierta toda la noche, hicimos una especie de campamento y me quedé despierta con 2 amigos más. Por el contrario el atardecer si lo puedo ver y me puedo planificar para ir a la playa a verlo, tengo varias fotos que ya he posteado aquí pero igualmente las compartiré de nuevo.

Oh, I think that would be really funny to me and sure and the rest of the years I probably attribute it to February 28th, just to keep it in the month it belongs. On the other hand, all the possibilities of jokes I could make with my acquaintances/friends when they ask me about my birthday, I could say that I have the gift of youth because my birthday only happens every 4 years, lol. I would brag (jokingly) that I am a unique person, I don't think it's possible for me to feel bad about that, I think it's a great thing, plus in the end I always think that days are just days, we are the ones who give it a meaning, and of course I don't want to say that I ignore the passage of time, only the meaning we give to a day on the calendar.
¡2024 es el año bisiesto! Si naciste el 29 de febrero de un año bisiesto, ¿qué te gusta o no te gusta de él? ¿Como celebras tu cumpleaños? Si no lo fueras, ¿te gustaría serlo? Cuéntanos por qué lo harías o no, y también cómo lo celebrarías.
Oh, creo que sería muy gracioso para mí y claro y el resto de los años probablemente lo atribuyo a el 28 de febrero, solo para mantenerlo en el mes que corresponde. Por otro lado, todas las posibilidades de bromas que podría hacer con mis conocidos/amigos cuando me pregunten por mi cumpleaños, podría decir que tengo el don de la juventud porque mi cumpleaños solamente sucede cada 4 años, lol. Me jactaria (en modo de broma) de que soy una persona única, no creo que sea posible que me sienta mal con eso, creo que es algo genial, además al final yo siempre pienso que los días solo son días, nosotros somos los que le damos un significado, y claro no quiero decir que ignoro el paso del tiempo, solo el significado que le damos a un día del calendario.
