Hello fellow appreciator, I invite you to participate in an adventure involving beers.
Your day is good or bad? It doesn't matter, open a beer and make it better!
In this third moment, I present to everyone a purely Brazilian beer, which emerged in the city of Rio de Janeiro in 2021, DEVASSA. This beer was the favorite of Brazilians for a long time, with an alcohol content of 4.8%, it has a yellowish color, light traces of malt and hops, little foam and a tropical and refreshing flavor. It is sold in different bottles and 350ml cans.
Currently, its brand belongs to the brewery Heineken Brasil, which was purchased in 2017.
This beer was part of some moments in my life, however, there is one that stood out, it is a funny and unusual situation that you can follow below.
WE TAUGHT BEERS TO JUMP OVER WALLS
The title seems unusual, but that's what really happened, let's understand the facts.
When I visited Guga Park for the first time (near the city of Santo Antônio/RN), you paid the entrance fee and had the right to bring drinks and food to consume there. “The place innovated with this theme, but it only happened in the first year of opening”
After 2 years, I went to visit Guga again, when I arrived at the place, there were numerous restrictions: I could only buy beers on site and I was not allowed to bring any type of food, with the exception of baby food. Our cars were full of Devassa brand beers and appetizers for consumption. What to do in such a situation? We thought a lot and did something crazy, “we taught beers to jump over walls”.
The madness starts now! “I don’t know why, but in our youth we don’t think about the consequences, we think everything will work out”
Part of the group entered the place and two colleagues stayed outside with the beers and food. We agreed to make these beers enter Guga without the knowledge of the park owners. To do this, we took a table close to the wall. My colleagues went around the park and stood on the opposite side of the wall. I shouted from inside the place, “Send one, GO”, he threw it and we caught it. We made the beers and food jump over the wall, this process lasted almost 1 hour.
To avoid causing any problems, at one time or another we would buy something locally, thinking that we weren't attracting attention, but we were totally wrong.
When it got to the end, one of the waiters literally extorted us.
He arrived at the table and said: “How did you get all this beer here? It’s illegal.”
We responded: “We bought it.” Then the smart guy started the scam.
Him: So you going to pay for everything, right?
Our response: Of course not, we don't buy here. “that’s what he wanted to hear”
The discussion lasted about 5 to 10 minutes and at the end he said, if you want me to not say anything, you will have to improve my tip.
We paid a generous tip and went home feeling indignant. In our minds we were doing something great, but the opposite happened.
We were extorted, the situation was tense, I don't know if it was worth bringing the items from home or not, the madness of passing the beers and food through the wall was a fun moment, but the ending was sad and we spent almost a week talking to each other about it.
SOMETHING I START LAUGHING JUST REMEMBERING
At that time, The Guga they didn't sell Devassa beer, that is, all the waiters knew what we did. “I just remember that popular saying: ignorance is a virtue!”

Neste terceiro momento apresento a todos uma cerveja puramente brasileira, que surgiu na cidade do Rio de Janeiro em 2021, a DEVASSA. Essa cerveja foi a preferida dos brasileiros por muito tempo, com teor alcoólico de 4,8%, possui cor amarelada, leves traços de malte e lúpulo, pouca espuma e sabor tropical e refrescante. É comercializado em diversos frascos e latas de 350ml.
Atualmente sua marca pertence à cervejaria Heineken Brasil, que foi adquirida em 2017.
Essa cerveja fez parte de alguns momentos da minha vida, porém, há uma que se destacou, é uma situação engraçada e inusitada que você acompanha abaixo.
ENSINAMOS CERVEJAS A SALTAR PAREDES
O título parece inusitado, mas foi o que realmente aconteceu, vamos entender os fatos.
Quando visitei pela primeira vez o Parque Guga (próximo à cidade de Santo Antônio/RN), você pagava a entrada e tinha direito de levar bebidas e comidas para consumir lá. “O local inovou com esse tema, mas isso só aconteceu no primeiro ano de inauguração”
Depois de 2 anos fui visitar novamente o Guga, quando cheguei ao local havia inúmeras restrições: só podia comprar cervejas no local e não era permitido trazer nenhum tipo de comida, com exceção de comidas de bebês. Nossos carros estavam cheios de cervejas da marca Devassa e petiscos para consumo. O que fazer em tal situação? Pensamos muito e fizemos uma loucura, “ensinamos cervejas a pular muro”.
A loucura começa agora! “Não sei porquê, mas na nossa juventude não pensamos nas consequências, pensamos que tudo vai dar certo”
Parte do grupo entrou no local e dois colegas ficaram do lado de fora com as cervejas e a comida. Combinamos que essas cervejas entrassem no Guga sem o conhecimento dos donos do parque. Para fazer isso, pegamos uma mesa perto da parede. Meus colegas deram a volta no parque e ficaram do lado oposto do muro. Gritei de dentro do lugar “Manda um, VAI”, ele jogou e a gente pegou. Fizemos as cervejas e a comida pularem o muro, esse processo durou quase 1 hora.
Para não causar problemas, uma vez ou outra comprávamos algo no local, pensando que não estávamos chamando a atenção, mas estávamos totalmente enganados.
Quando chegou ao fim, um dos garçons literalmente nos extorquiu.
Ele chegou na mesa e disse: “Como você conseguiu toda essa cerveja aqui? É ilegal."
Respondemos: “Nós compramos”. Então o esperto começou o golpe.
Ele: Então você vai pagar tudo, né?
Nossa resposta: Claro que não, não compramos aqui. “era isso que ele queria ouvir”
A discussão durou cerca de 5 a 10 minutos e no final ele disse, se quiser que eu não fale nada, terá que melhorar minha dica.
Pagamos uma gorjeta generosa e voltamos para casa indignados. Em nossas mentes estávamos fazendo algo ótimo, mas aconteceu o contrário.
Fomos extorquidos, a situação estava tensa, não sei se valeu a pena trazer os itens de casa ou não, a loucura de passar as cervejas e comidas pela parede foi um momento divertido, mas o final foi triste e passamos quase uma semana conversando sobre isso.
ALGO QUE COMEÇO A RI SÓ DE LEMBRAR
Naquela época, O Guga não vendia cerveja Devassa, ou seja, todos os garçons sabiam o que fazíamos. “Só me lembro daquele ditado popular: ignorância é uma virtude!”

Hahaha, that's exciting and all but I'm not sure if I will ever gonna try it. But I can be an accomplice if ever hahahaha. But sad that y'all extorted, but you had your fun so, is it worth it? Hahaha.
I have so many beer stories that I can't tell them with my fingers and toes together. Let's just say that my youth was quite eventful.
Every moment was worth it, despite the negative situations, when we got together, we laughed a lot remembering these crazy things from the past. These are the moments that make life worth living.
Currently, I avoid overindulging in drinks, but I do like a good beer.
To have fun and create more exciting memories to look back, that's super duper better. And when you get old and having the same beer session, you can reminisce those good old days.
And between the comment on a funny situation or something crazy I've experienced, I'd like the second, I mean the crazier it is, the funnier (≧▽≦)
