MY CHRISTMAS EVE (TRAVEL, BBQ, DRINKS AND LUAU) / MINHA VÉSPERA DE NATAL (VIAGEM, CHURRASCO, BEBIDAS E LUAU) (EN / PT)

Hello HIVE friends, we have arrived at Christmas, this special date deserves a special day.
My day started with a family trip to PIPA beach in the interior of Rio Grande do Norte. We arrived very early, the place was not very busy, in other words, it was perfect for taking a shower and enjoying the natural landscape. Afterwards, we drank coconut water and arranged a Christmas barbecue in João Pessoa with some friends and family.
The journey was long, but we arrived with great energy. Even though nothing was ready, it was that moment to decide what to do and let's go shopping.
I know the date is ideal for drinking good wine, but we chose to enjoy some beers. When we arrived in João Pessoa, we quickly started shopping: meat, beer and lots of food (we didn't forget the Christmas turkey, which was too expensive, but we bought it).

The drink chosen was the famous SCHIN litrão “this expression is very famous in Brazil: let's go to the bar and have a litrão” When we are referring to the 1 liter bottle of beer. There was little beer, people were thirsty, we had to buy more, unfortunately there wasn't any of it the same and we bought SKOL.
I don't know if it was tiredness from the trip or anxiety at the moment, but the beer was delicious. It did justice to our Christmas. Whether we like it or not, beer is representing our Christmas celebration. “It’s like I always say, it’s not the brand, but the moment”
We decided to have the barbecue and the entire celebration at an acquaintance's house, but we changed our plans again and decided to end our Christmas night with a luau on the beaches of João Pessoa.
We organized all the necessary items and together with the food and drinks, we closed this incredible Christmas night.
“On that occasion, we even took advantage of the nighttime sea bath, it was incredible.”
It's early in the morning and making coffee to cure our hangover.

Olá amigos do HIVE, chegamos ao Natal, esta data especial merece um dia especial.
Meu dia começou com uma viagem em família para a praia de PIPA, no interior do Rio Grande do Norte. Chegamos bem cedo, o local não estava muito movimentado, ou seja, era perfeito para tomar banho e curtir a paisagem natural. Depois bebemos água de coco e organizamos um churrasco de Natal em João Pessoa com alguns amigos e familiares.
A viagem foi longa, mas chegamos com muita energia. Mesmo sem nada pronto, era aquele momento de decidir o que fazer e vamos às compras.
Sei que a data é ideal para beber um bom vinho, mas optamos por apreciar umas cervejas. Quando chegamos em João Pessoa, rapidamente começamos a fazer compras: carne, cerveja e muita comida (não esquecemos do peru de Natal, que era muito caro, mas compramos).
“O desejo de todos era passar a noite aproveitando esse momento natalino”
A bebida escolhida foi o famoso litrão SCHIN “essa expressão é muito famosa no Brasil: vamos ao bar tomar um litrão” Quando nos referimos à garrafa de cerveja de 1 litro. Tinha pouca cerveja, as pessoas tinham sede, tínhamos que comprar mais, infelizmente não tinha igual e compramos SKOL.
Não sei se foi o cansaço da viagem ou a ansiedade do momento, mas a cerveja estava uma delícia. Fez justiça ao nosso Natal. Quer queiramos ou não, a cerveja representa a nossa celebração de Natal. “É como sempre digo, não é a marca, mas o momento”
Decidimos fazer o churrasco e toda a comemoração na casa de um conhecido, mas mudamos novamente os planos e decidimos encerrar nossa noite de Natal com um luau nas praias de João Pessoa.
Organizamos todos os itens necessários e junto com as comidas e bebidas fechamos essa incrível noite de Natal.
“Na ocasião aproveitamos até o banho noturno de mar, foi incrível.”
É de manhã cedo e estamos fazendo café para curar a ressaca.

My family has always enjoyed these trips and family gatherings. The pandemic ended our traditions, we were just enjoying Christmas at home, we gathered courage and decided to return to family outings this year. We've already done several. Now that I'm on vacation, I'm going to try to visit the Buddha in the next few days.
