In A Twisted, Violet Space | A Mixed Media Art Project

For my current mixed media art project, I wanted to showcase a recent pure fractal I created in the advanced fractal rendering program, Apophysis 7X that I titled "Green Sphere". I had no idea the ethereal quality I would achieve when I opened the program and selected a New Design.

As I've explained previously, a fractal is a visual representation of a complex mathematical equation.

I never know which direction the choices I make will take me. It's a wait and see moment. To achieve the round-shaped iterations, I chose 'SPHERICAL' as one of the Variations for Transform No. 1. The color I chose from the color palettes provided. I love the blue green look of turquoise. The translucent appearance makes you feel as though you can look right through the image to the other side. But it's the iterations in infinite loops, curves, and lines that transfixes one's gaze. You don't know where to start and which direction to proceed.

Once you've applied some of the variations and decided which design you'd like to render, all that's needed now is to render the flame, then save your design once rendering is complete.

You can chose either to save on a colored background or a transparent one. I've discovered that certain fractals look amazing on black or dark backgrounds. However, if you feel that the fractal will be used to combine with another one or some of type image medium, then a transparent background is best so that blending is seamless.

For the stable diffusion female and eye images, below are my steps from the program, Night Cafe. Night Cafe gives you a choice of either one or four images. I chose four for variation. The images below are those I picked from each group.

Text input:
"Fantasy pair of eyes ethereal and dark with red pupils."

Filter:
"A masterpiece, 8k resolution, dark fantasy concept art, by Greg Rutkowski, dynamic lighting, hyperdetailed, intricately detailed, Splash screen art, trending on Artstation, deep color, Unreal Engine, volumetric lighting, Alphonse Mucha, Jordan Grimmer, purple and yellow complementary colours"."*

With the essentials in place, the design only required a few other images to create a unique space surrounding the purple sphere. I chose my other pure fractal I also created in Apophysis 7X and some abstract images I created in another abstract program, Bomomo. The most interesting piece from Bomomo is the first one I titled "Long Worm in Black".

Finally, I utilized Canva, my design program, to blend the different type images. I leave with you my visual procedures which began with a blank, white canvas. I then add layers of elements in accordance with my upgraded Annual Pro Membership that includes tools to remove backgrounds, resize, filter, duplicate, and reposition items as required.

This is a seamless blend of so many beautiful elements -- the green fractal revealed even more of its structure in violet!

Yes, I feel that changing the color to violet did exposure the true inner weavings of the fractal. Thanks for stopping by and viewing it. Take care.
