For today's prompt, one can interpret it two ways. Either a person is deficient in an area of knowledge or another issue is causing people to question one's knowledge. My microfiction story for the prompt "lack of expertise" I chose to respond in the latter instance. It reminds me of people who question others in an attempt to discover a reason for a particular action that seems unnecessary or out of order. My story is told as a ZAPFIC50 that's exactly 50 words. The challenge was created by @felt.buzz.

Below is my story.

All who witnessed the incident stated emphatically to the interviewing officer that it wasn't Wortmeyer's lack of expertise that caused his death.

It was his lack of common sense. At eighty-five, Wortmeyer's sustained his engineering skills.

However, everyone knows that if you smell a rotten egg, don't light a match.

El tema de hoy puede interpretarse de dos maneras. O bien una persona es deficiente en un área de conocimiento, o bien otra cuestión hace que la gente cuestione sus conocimientos. Mi microrrelato para el tema "falta de conocimientos » opté por responder en este último caso. Me recuerda a las personas que cuestionan a otras en un intento de descubrir una razón para una acción concreta que parece innecesaria o fuera de lugar. Mi historia está contada como un ZAPFIC50 que son exactamente 50 palabras. El reto fue creado por @felt.buzz.

Todos los que presenciaron el incidente declararon con rotundidad al agente entrevistador que no fue la falta de pericia de Wortmeyer lo que le causó la muerte.

Fue su falta de sentido común. A sus ochenta y cinco años, Wortmeyer ha mantenido sus conocimientos de ingeniería.

Sin embargo, todo el mundo sabe que si hueles un huevo podrido, no enciendas una cerilla.

You made me remember with that phrase the countless times that I had arguments in good liv with my students, and it was precisely because of that, because of the lack of experience they have in an 8th semester and even less when they have not gone to the labor field.

No @beckyroyal, it's not. I just continue to do my own thing with the prompts, a ZAPFIC50, ZAPFIC100, or ZAPFIC250. Whatever I'm in the mood for with the daily prompts.
