My 2025 Mixed Media Art Projects and Short Story Fiction for FREECOMPLIMENTS Community's "Talent Tuesdays"
This is a Curated Collection of Posts that highlights my participation in the FreeCompliments Community in 2025. Their initiative, Talent Tuesdays, provided me with another creative outlet for my mixed media art projects and short story fiction.
However, this venture didn't turn out quite as I expected. The Community Leader has now left Hive as of April, 2025.
I'm publishing the projects I completed.
What was "Talent Tuesdays"? According to the Free Compliments Community leader, it was one of the new themed days in the Community that provided a chance to post any of your talents, whether it be drawing, singing, sewing, writing (stories, poetry), or anything else that you did. The program kicked off in June of 2024. I immediately recognized an opportunity to expose my creative designs to a wider audience. I loved the feedback this opportunity provided in that I met new acquaintances on Hive who gave positive feedback on my projects.
Often, I included poetry or a short story fiction with my designs. I love writing short stories and also gives me an opportunity to share my writing that accompanies the theme of my mixed media art projects.

I'm pleased you liked my projects in the collection. It was a sad state of affairs that the owner of the community left Hive. I enjoyed publishing there, as in other communities. I appreciate your kind compliment for my designs and stories in those projects. I do sometimes project strong, dark, and moody atmospheres in my projects. I just love dark and dramatic themes the best.
