Winning is overrated in my opinion if you emerge on the other side losing in the long run. I've lived long enough and desired too often things that looked good on the outside or from a distance. Now I desire substance, not superficial.

you're wise beyond your age which I'm not going to ask because like they say a lady doesn't reveal her....
I recently turned 72. My two daughters hosted a dinner and granddaughter baked me a fluten-free chocolate cake. She was so proud that she was looking out for my health. I graciously accepted, but would have preferred it fully-loaded with chocolate chips inside and drowned with chocolate icing. Yum; Yum.
But I've come to realize a moment on the lips, and forever everywhere it can find available space to rest and nest. Such is the life of a senior citizen.
