Winter Wonderland in Elfville | Let's Make A Collage Round 221 (Entry #2)

LMAC-Round221-Entry-No2.jpg

Hello LMAC and Hive members. I wanted to share with you my Entry #2 collage for this LMAC Round 221.

@shaka, now holds a monthly contest with participants having the ability to submit multiple entries during that month for consideration. If you'd like to join in this monthly round for December with a due date of December 30, end of day (midnight UTC), visit: Let's Make a Collage - A Contest for All Creatives on Hive - Round 221 - ✨100 HIVE in the Prize Pool!.

My theme entails a winter scene in an elf village.

Hidden deep within the valley where the mountains intersect with the river lies Elfville.

Their customs dictated that no outsiders were allowed to witness or take part in their holiday celebrations.

Unbeknownst to his parents, Enoldus had befriended Olivera. On the night before the big winter festival, Enoldus hid his best friend in the cellar of his home.

Olivera couldn't believe her eyes. The scene was nothing short of magical as marching bands paraded through the town singing and dancing in the ancient tongue of their culture.

She recorded the festivities; interviewed the elders of the town; captured pictures; then prepared a documentary introducing the culture to the world.

How she helped the Elves understand her motives was a testament to her relationship skills. She presented the documentary to the town.

It took several months after the event for the Elders to agree to expose themselves to the world in order for tensions between the cultures to subside.

Understanding and mutual respect, Olivera convinced both sides, were the only avenues forward to living in peace.

In preparing my theme, I located images that depicted a Christmas decor. Once I saw the elf village, I knew this was the direction and story to pursue. A few pure fractals were included that I designed in the advanced fractal rendering program, Apophysis 7X. Flipping the contest image on its side afforded me the opportunity to create a portal.

Below are the images I included in my collage:

I then utilized Canva to blend the different type images. Below are my steps in which I added layers of elements, removing backgrounds, resizing, duplicating, colorizing, and repositioning items as needed incorporating the tools at my disposal in my Annual Pro Membership Subscription.

  • To a blank, white canvas, I added the LMAC winter landscape contest image; then duplicated it to cover both sides of the screen;
  • Added elf village; removed its background; then centered it between the landscape opening;
  • Added the three colored playground equipment images and positioned them around the screen;
  • Added the dalmations and one of the fractals inside the ball;
  • Added other fractals around the screen.

Hi 👋🏾 all good and well here how are you doing

I enjoyed the post so I had to drop a comment just to let you know keep up the good work my friend 🤗

I'm not sure if I told you already but my original content is being downvoted on Hive just because I helped out a friend year's ago who is now exposing the truth about Hive 😂

I hope you enjoy your day ahead ✌🏾👊🏾🙏🏾

👋🏾😎 I always enjoy your work

It is crazy that no one does anything about the bad downvoting this is on of the reasons why Hive will not go mainstream

This looks very nice @justclickindiva. Looking the texture at the background I thought this scene is happening inside a soap bubble :)

@justclickindiva Beautiful and subtle, I loved the story, it's a bit like me, I do a lot of AI art, and conventional, and sometimes I don't show it.

I decided that 2025 would be the year to expose everything I have on my hard drives, open up other social networks, etc.

I understand and have decided to drop all my drafts accumulated during my time on Hive and publish the over 150 projects I need to complete. I'm not creating any new fractals, just expose the ones I haven't presented. 2025 will see all my works before I eventually shut it down. I can feel myself slowing down due to age and health.

Thanks so much for always encouraging me and complimenting my weird projects on LMAC and on AAH.

I appreciate it and your support. Take care and have a good rest of your week.
