I despise washing my mum's car

Chores are regular tasks or duties assigned for completion, mostly within the household. They involve a wide range of activities, including cleaning, cooking, maintenance, washing and more. We obviously have chores we do daily, weekly,monthly and yearly.

Responsibilities are the different duties or tasks that are person is required or expected to undertake as part of their job, role, or position. You can be responsible for always taking proper care of house parlor or maybe varanda everyday.

If i am given the opportunity to get rid of one house chore or responsibility I have been doing presently, i will choose washing of my mum' car . Please don't let my mum hear about this 🙏.

I have my reasons for this , and I will be saying them .

First of all, my mum at times would drive to certain places that have very bad roads and are already flooded and affected by erosion so definitely travelling to this areas will make the tyres of the car be surrounded with sand and it would be very dirty and smelly as well. I always have to make use of detergent , water and hard brush to wash the dirty off the face of the four tyres , body of the tyres and near the tyres itself , that would have been very sticky with sand. During this process , i always sometimes be in a hurry or not be careful enough that my hands would be bleeding due to some sharp objets located near the tyres , and also i get bitten by some insects that are very wicked and the smell of the tyres at times gets me irritated . I normally get reluctant to wash it at times , due to the way i despise doing it , but i just have to wash it since it's my mum and I can't disobey her. Now talking about the body of the car , it's not as hard as the tyres but it can really be stressful and my mum is someone who loves to always be clean so she would definitely want the windows of the car, the bonnets, and the back of the car to be neat . In order to do this , i just have to take my time to wash it. She won't pay a dime but she will just be giving someone unnecessary work lol🤣.

Another reason is i could be enjoying watching a movie, or be trying to go visit my friends and she would just tell me to help her wash her car or she could be like i don't like the way the car is , please help wash it thoroughly. This actually do pisses me off alot , just imagine you are watching a movie like the "Beekeeper" , and you get to an interesting part like where "Adam clay went to the damsforth company that was surrounded by soldiers and tight security guards" and immediately you get to this particular scene , your mum just called you "Juwon pls I need to take the car out help me quickly make sure it's clean" won't you be gassed or atleast get angry a little??. This is the exact same experience I have had , and I promise you I don't always love them, and they are not always the best.

Don't get me wrong, i know chores and responsibilities are what we the children are suppose to carry out in the house and it's not that i am a lazy person this is just something I don't fancy and I must do because I am the last child of my mum and it's part of what i am assigned to do , the only time I am free from this responsibility is when i am in school.
