Turn Negative Words into Motivation for Success.

I have had alot of experiences in the past some good, while some bad , but this experiences have had impacts on my life and has contributed and made me the person I am today.

If there is any experience I will always hold dear to me and will never forget then that's definitely going to be my Jupeb programme experience.

I didn't get up to the cut off mark to be given admission into a babcock University in 2021 so I was told to enroll for Jupeb exams in the same school.

The benefit of of sitting for this exams was that, if I end up passing it , I will be moved straight to second year in the university without going through the first year.

I did this programme from July 2021 to August 2022 and for this programme , you will be offered just three courses the courses I was studying where biology , Agriculture and Chemistry. At first , I decided to go for economics because I was never really good at chemistry but later on, the jupeb supervisors asked me to choose between physics and chemistry as economics wasn't accepted for my course of study. I chose chemistry and that was why I had to study it.

My experience was a really tough one, we were basically just two boys studying agriculture so it wasn't really hard and it was easier to learn alot without any distractions.

My biology teacher made me go through hell. He just really hate my guts and doesn't even like to see me. This man sent me out of his class and told me not step my foot in his class again because I came to his class 8:00am when initially that's was the same time his class was to be commenced .

I missed alot of tests and exams just because of him and one thing I hated about him was the fact that we were just four boys offering biology and he had an issue with alot of us but never had issues with the girls. Infact he always think they are better than us and always looked down on us. This man looked at us and told us to our faces that we were never going to pass our jupeb exams. I was actually bothered because I don't know where those words came from but i used that as a motivation and said to myself "i have to see this opportunity as my last shot at getting into the university, and I have to make myself and my mum proud and I remained determined and made up my mind to pass the exam at all cost.

We sat down for these exams and we basically did two segments for biology which was the theory and the practical aspect. The theory was what we did first while the practical was the last and it was quite easier than the theory. The exam hall was properly invigilated with cctv cameras and a jupeb invigilator so you can't even dare to cheat or else you will get caught. They were even some people that they tore their examination script because they where caught cheating and that was the end of their programme.

Later on, the result of the exams we did were out and I was just really scared and nervous. I and my mum went down to the school to get my results and I was told I passed the exams and so for that reason I was given admission into 200lvl straight away. My mum couldn't believe it because she knows how hard jupeb was and how people normally fail this particular exam.

At the end of the day, most of the girls he placed above me in class didn't even pass the exams and are now in 200lvl while I am in 300lv1. I am not mocking them, i am just telling you to never give up or allow someone negative words get to you instead use them as a motivation.

Always aim for the sky, stay focused, and be determined. By doing so, you will surely achieve the positive results you’ve always wished for.
