LOH Contest #194 || Who does not risk, does not win
“Quien no arriesga, no gana” dice un dicho muy popular, sin embrago asumir grandes riesgos es algo que causa mucha ansiedad. En mi vida, por ejemplo, he tenido que tomar muchas decisiones que incluían grandes riesgos, pero siempre he tratado de dar un salto de fe y aventurarme a los cambios. Por supuesto, siempre evaluando muy bien todas las alternativas y las mejores opciones.
“He who does not risk, does not win” says a very popular saying, however, taking big risks is something that causes a lot of anxiety. In my life, for example, I have had to make many decisions that included big risks, but I have always tried to take a leap of faith and venture into changes. Of course, always evaluating very well all the alternatives and the best options.
Actualmente el mayor riesgo que estoy evaluando, es el de invertir mis ahorros en un nuevo emprendimiento. Es una decisión que me ha costado tomar, a pesar de que ya he sopesado muy bien todas las alternativas. Utilizar los ahorros que estaban destinados para un fin mayor para invertirlos en un negocio es un riesgo muy grande para mi.
No obstante, la idea es multiplicar la inversión y obtener ganancias. Nadie quiere perder dinero, ciertamente, pero para ganar hay que invertir, no solo dinero, sino también tiempo y esfuerzo. Aún no he tomado la decisión final, pero estoy consciente de los riesgos y consecuencias, que es lo más importante por ahora.
Currently, the biggest risk I am evaluating is to invest my savings in a new venture. It is a decision that has been difficult for me to make, even though I have already weighed all the alternatives very well. Using savings that were intended for a major purpose to invest them in a business is a very big risk for me.
However, the idea is to multiply the investment and make a profit. No one wants to lose money, certainly, but to earn you have to invest, not only money, but also time and effort. I have not made the final decision yet, but I am aware of the risks and consequences, which is the most important thing for now.
En cuanto a riesgos menores que no incluyan pérdidas materiales o problemas de salud, realmente soy mucho más entusiasta. Siempre me gusta aprender cosas nuevas, practicar nuevas técnicas, probar recetas nuevas y quizá cambiar de look.
Considero que todos los días nos enfrentamos a nuevos retos, desafíos y por ende a nuevos riesgos, por lo que es imposible vivir la vida sin asumir algún riesgo por insignificante que este sea. Lo importante siempre será actuar dando lo mejor de cada uno, actuar con conciencia, tener mucha fe y optimismo. Siempre esperando lo mejor, pero estando preparados o alertas para lo peor.
When it comes to minor risks that do not include material losses or health problems, I am actually much more enthusiastic. I always like to learn new things, practice new techniques, try new recipes and maybe change my look.
I believe that every day we face new challenges, challenges and therefore new risks, so it is impossible to live life without taking some risk, no matter how insignificant it may be. The important thing will always be to act giving the best of each one, to act with conscience, to have a lot of faith and optimism. Always hoping for the best, but being prepared or alert for the worst.

Una vida sin tomar riesgos es aburrida, además a veces las coasa que nos pasan nos empujan a tomar decisiones que suelen en algunos casos ser arriesgadas, un nuevo negocio es algo para pensarlo bien, espero y tomes la mejor y mas sabia decisión, y pase lo que pase tengas exitos!

More like if you are afraid so much to use your money, you won’t get anything from it.
I understand how it can be sometimes, being scared to lose money you’ve earned the hard way. It’s something I’m also scared of so it’s been hindering me from venturing into any business.
