Face it, food has been very much culturally tied to most festivities regardless of ethnic tradition but it doesn't mean that we can't make better choices. I find that we can make better wholesome and more beneficial choices too.

Very well said. I think that's what makes the difference, whether it is the drinks, foods or snacks, better choices are always best.
