In a sunny and rather deserted attique one day Emily found a dust-covered, gorgeous gilded desk one day. Taken aback, she dismissed it which had beautiful engravings with sparkles and other touches. When she pulled out the drawer then she came across a diary enveloped in the native materials, it was her grandmother’s. Every page recounted dreams and several secrets of the past generations. Without understanding why, she felt attached to the desk and thus Emily sat down. With each word that she read her connection to her grandmother was deepened when she understood that the golden desk is not only a piece of furniture but it is a connection to their history that will be remembered forever.
