ANOTHER PLAN #215
The new Year is just around the corner, and with it comes a lot of new expectations and goals for a lot of people who would want to make something out of life from 2025. For me I've learned a good number of things this year that have propelled me into making life changing decisions next year. These changes are coming as a result of the things I have done, mistakes I have made, and results I have gotten this year. I remember last year as though it was yesterday when I was making my plans for 2024, then I also had a lot of dreams for the year and although some of them did not turn out exactly as I had imagined, I am happy that I was able to get something reasonable at the end of the day fulfilling 85% of my yearly goals so far.
While this may be a poor result for some people, I'm happy about it because it's the highest I've gotten so far over the years that I've been setting new year resolutions. And just like I did this year, I will be keeping it as simple as I can. Next year I will be working on three major things, my finances, my skills, and my relationship life. Although I would want to do my national youth service next year which is also a priority too, a significant level up in my finances would very much make that happen as I hope to passively serve. Yeah right I'm just going for the certificate and thus would be needing time to build other areas of my life.
I'm focusing on these three areas not because I didn't focus on them this year or every other year, but because I will be more intentional about were my income and investments goes, I will be more us Skilling more often so I could also Generate more income with some specific skills I would love to learn with involves advanced cyber security and advanced social media management. I would also want to look into securing some remote jobs in this field which would further help me implement my plans for the coming years. And after all these I would hope to be making some very big relationship decision towards the end of next year. But then these are all plans I wish I can accomplish next year.

Hy, this is the first time I am seeing a male join the ladies of Hive. I am impressed at least we cant do it alone without everyone.
Your plans for 2025 are inspiring and well thought out. I admire how you’ve reflected on your progress this year and used it to shape your goals. Focusing on finances, skills, and relationships shows great balance. It’s also impressive that you achieved 85% of your goals for 2024. that’s something to be proud of!
I think being intentional with your finances and learning advanced skills like cybersecurity is a smart move. Combining this with your goal to secure remote jobs is practical and forward-thinking.
My only advice is to take things one step at a time and celebrate small wins along the way. You’re on the right track
