MY HIVE FRIENDS

I had to sit for a minute to think about why I followed some of the hive accounts I'm currently following. I never thought about it until I saw the Hive Naija prompt for the week, but I'm glad it came because I took out time to filter the accounts I am following. The first thing I discovered was that I probably started following some of them because they follow me too, yet they do not add any significant value to my development on the Blockchain other than staying in my following list. Significant here means that some of them don't even make posts, while some post things I'm not really interested in. Apart from some of the accounts I onboarded into the Blockchain (of which most are not fully active) my current followings are now people I followed intentionally.

For what it's worth, one of the major things that makes me follow an account is the value of their post. I don't mind whether they are new or old, as long as you provide good content, I'm so following you. Another reason I follow is because of our offline relationships outside the hive Blockchain. Most of which came from various community discord groups. I have a good relationship with about 50% - 60% of my total followings, and most of them are from either Neoxian City, Hivenaija, or Hive Learners Discord server. So in no particular order, here are my latest 5 favorites.

I don't really know much about her, but we share similar interests in the MCGICARES Community. I like her interest in the Christian faith, and how she writes about God. There are lessons to learn from most of her reviews in the community. To think she followed me first, but these were the reasons I followed her.

The major reason I follow Fash is because of our offline relationship and mutual respect. We are in about 3 discord servers and a WhatsApp group. So seeing his goal for the year was to build his followers, I thought I would help him achieve it by following as well besides he followed me first, and I thought it proper to return the favor.

I discovered we came from the same tribe on Discord, but her content was the major reason I followed her. She's great at fiction writing and also has a great personality offline. As a matter of fact, one wouldn't think she's such a prolific writer considering she has deep Warri raz origin… (not my handwriting though). But in all her contents are always worth following.

This one decided to name herself my nemesis or should I say make me her nemesis. All the same, we are nemesis. Even though I wish I knew more about her (I didn't say anything) she's another prolific writer with a very great personality. In recent weeks we've become close and I think we've become close enough for me to say she's my anonymous friend 😂.

And this just happened to be my newfound love in the city of neoxian… her personality is top-notch and her energy is on another level. I remember when I first read her post from Dreemport, I fell in love with her personality from her writings. Yeah, she's a great writer. And then I found her in the Neoxian city, or should I say she found me and remembered my comment weeks before that time. Too bad she's in a different country, but at the same time, I look forward to better days as she has automatically become a friend I met on Hive.

Well, I guess that's the end of everything I would be saying about my following feeds. As you can see, I don't have many followings compared to my followers, but then everyone I follow is important to me in one way or the other. I think I will continue filtering my followings in the future so it will be easier to know those I look forward to seeing their posts on my feed.
