MY PLAN FOR THE CHRISTMAS HOLIDAYS
It's Christmas month already, but I'm not sure I will be there having any of it this year. However, I have some things planned out for the holiday period that aren't really fun to say, but profitable. If I can pull it off, I will surely have a lovely Christmas to look forward to next year. The idea is for me to scale up my skills to the point I can enter the year 2024 strong. But now that would be all work work work and no play. So just to spice things up for myself, I would love to do a little treat for myself which would be rather inexpensive as I would be spending Christmas alone. I do not have the full picture of how it would turn out right now in my head, but I hope it will turn out just fine and Christmas won't be boring.

It would be the first time I'm totally alone on Christmas day, so I would like to take advantage of it and enjoy it to the best of my ability. Starting with I would be looking to cook something special to celebrate myself for a successful 2023 thus far. To be honest it has not been easy so a treat to celebrate myself would be nice. I would be all alone on Christmas day hopefully because many of my friends would have traveled to see their families. And if it turns out that way, I might go to a park close by, there's one here in Port Harcourt Nigeria, it's called Pleasure Park and I would go like two or three days after Christmas.
The reason is on that day the park would most likely be jammed with a lot of people and activities, meanwhile, my purpose of going is to have a breath of fresh air, think about my next moves and the new year, experience a different environment, and take my mind off negativities going on around which can not be achieved with a lot of people around, and see when there is a lot of people, there's always bound to be a lot of noise. Talking about noise though, what's Christmas without the noise? The area I stay in Port Harcourt has a tradition of having carnivals in every street which would certainly keep me busy as I would be watching those carnivals.
I've never really experienced carnivals here, but I heard they are very interesting, so I would be looking forward to experiencing them firsthand. There's also a local wrestling tournament that has been going on around here, hosted by the community where I reside. The finals of that tournament are scheduled to be held during the holidays… I do not know when exactly, but the last one I saw was really interesting to watch. Men show strength and tenacity, honoring the traditions that have existed from the beginning. I would definitely be a spectator to enjoy the view. So yeah, I guess that would be all for Christmas and the holidays afterward…

Please send location so we can vibe together. Doing movies won't be bad also. Not sure I like the idea of being alone on such beautiful day.
I love wrestling, won't be bad to see some muscles flexed 😂
You are welcome to the city of port Harcourt 😂
Hahaha
No problem, if my brother comes around there, would probably follow him
Your environment sure seems like it would compensate for being among on Christmas day. You're doing to treat yourself right anyway, so it's all good for you already. I'd like visit Pleasure Park someday, but it would have to be after the holidays since I am traveling back to Lagos soon. Holiday greetings, man.

Boss celebrating Christmas alone isn't always nice, I have been in it for long, but since you said you are going out you might not be bored hehe.
That local wrestling, I wish I was there, I have never witnessed any before, I heard it used to be fun
Christmas is always better with all of the loudness. Go out and just chill. The switch up will do you good

Cooking up a treat for yourself sounds amazing. I've heard of pleasure park from my PH friends.
Well, I sincerely hope you enjoy your holiday seeing as you'll be celebrating it alone. I hope you won't feel lonely on such a happy season.
I haven't been to a festival and I'm sure the festival will be filled with joy, bright colours and laughter. Do take care of yourself!
Thank you for your wishes. I wish you a lovely Christmas in advance too. Thanks for stopping by
You're welcome dear
It seems your environment is capable of entertaining you for Christmas. Though the carnival thing seems to be a practice that occur in most part of Nigeria during festive period but I have never been a fan of it especially during this time of insecurity.
Oh yeah, I hear of malicious practices that goes on during carnivals. I would be sure not to go with any valuable except it's happening close to my house, I would just take some pictures and take my phone inside before anyone can finish saying jack😂
The environment you find yourself will surely make the festive season fun filled for you. No doubt your Christmas will be exciting even though you would be celebrating it alone. Just be careful during those carnival because every corner isn't smiling nowadays
Yeah right, I always try to be careful
You have got great plans for your holidays. Being alone at the festive season might be a bit saddening. However, it brings more wisdom, doesn’t it.
Yeah it does I guess lol
Please send location let's turn up and vibe together.
I love food so much so it won't be a bad idea to have a taste of that special delicacy 😋😋😋
