NEW YEAR TIME

I've witnessed a lot of new beginnings, some were significant, others were not so significant, but all of them made a difference.

But then again, there was something similar to them, it was what they did to me. The more the sun sets in the west and rises from the east, the more I'm affected by its presence.

Though insignificant to nature, it made nature significant to me. Soon enough I realized that I had to take advantage of the change it was doing to me.

It was taking me through a journey in time, and pushing me further to my prime, making me aware that time waits for no one even as it takes everyone.

I've been consciously on this journey for some time when I noticed something significant about time. It was the sun setting and rising again.

This time it rose differently to me, as though it knew me. I heard it whisper my name in the heat of the night.

As the hot air blew on my face while I reflected on my previous journey, I saw my mistakes, knowing I could not go back to change them.

But seeing the sun as it rose again, it said to me, ” Move forward and correct them”. At first, these words sounded strange, but soon enough I understood what it meant.

It was not just the sun rising, or time moving. It was my time coming, as it beckoned on me to take it.

It's not just a new year, it is my new year, I do not know how I know this, but I know I'm ready for whatever it brings

I know this time is my time, and I would do amazing things with it.

But wait, the thought of this is scary, a lot will change, and I will change, I do not know how, or when, but I'm certain I will.

But I wish that just as time changes into beautiful things, my time will change me into something beautiful.
