WHAT WORKS FOR YOU

Lately I decided to start hitting the gym… I mean the one in my room 😂. But it's been fun all the same even though I am not trying to burn any fat, I discovered that I was easily getting tired and wasn't looking fit. It's been almost 6 months since I had my regular workout and it was beginning to tell me badly. But after I started my normal routine of different pushups I'm starting to feel like my old self again. Although I've not gone as extreme as I used to, I have been keeping things on a very basic level and it's been really good I must confess. I go to work feeling like a gladiator ready to conquer the world and that energy follows me back which is pretty awesome.

I remember when my sister used to be round, sorry plus size. She was so fat that she earned the nicknames “churches and buns” until she went to boarding school and totally became someone else. Since then she realized that her fat was related to her dieting and thus started watching her diets. I was once fat also, but it was a very long time ago. I got sick and totally lost weight and since then I haven't added weight so I just keep fit. I can eat anything, any fat and not work out and I wouldn't bother about adding weight, but if my sister tries it boom, she has become puff puff. At least I know my fat was never food related, and to date I wonder what triggers it so I would do it a bit and turn fat into muscles.

From these two experiences I've shared above, I believe dieting and exercising are very important depending on the goal. My sister for example doesn't like exercises, but she can diet pretty well. Me, I love food knowing I'm gonna burn it all with exercises (that's if there's something to burn). If the goal is to lose weight, I would suggest dieting and exercising, but if the goal is to keep fit, exercising will do just fine. But then I also think both dieting and exercising would not work for everyone, especially those whose fats are dependent on a particular ingredient. For such visiting the hospital to know the exact cause of fat is what I recommend so they can know exactly what to cut down on. Oftentimes I discovered that people in this situation are often disadvantaged.

I had a friend who found out that she could take in any snack except bugger which happened to be her favorite snack. Not that she even ate much of it, but the little she ate was like a fat catalyst to her body. She ended up loving herself the way she is and continued with her bugger. She told me that I hadn't found the ingredient that made me fat as a child, and once I found it, I would start struggling with fat. In as much as I don't want to believe her, she might probably be right, but something in me doesn't want to find out, at least not now. I prefer to stay physically and mentally healthy with my exercises than to rely on some diet to keep me from bloating up.

Both dieting and exercise work hand in hand but everyone is entitled to what works for them.
