Delfino Feroce
Is an AWD sports car prototype based on a development of the Minari sports car, designed in the late 90’s by Andrew Barrowman, Sean Prendergast & Allard Marx built based upon a glass fibre monocoque, plus front/rear space-frames with engine and mechanical components from the Subaru Impreza.
Powered by 4-cyl boxer 2.0litre and 2.5 litre turbo-charged (150-400hp) engines with 4/5-speed manual transmissions
Only one prototype was produced
Note: Minari Engineering was active between 1990-20 producing just over 100 cars/kits based upon Alfa Romeo (Sud-33) mechanical components and engines.
Murtaya
In 2006 the project/production was taken over by Adrenaline Motorsports (directors MUir-TAylor-YAtes) with new investors forming Murtaya Sports Cars (2010) with a few (3) vehicles being produced in New Zealand under licence (2009-12).
ALS Sports Cars took over the project/production in 2013 but their involvement only lasted until 2018 when the company was dissolved.
Vehicles were available in component form and turn-key with at least two kits shipped to Australia in 2010. There are no records of how many kits/cars were produced by all parties involved.https://www.facebook.com/100064903801799/posts/pfbid02asbX2snVeMY4uC65DeP6nuhgo9BBQM83AWzY8JQwFtSWShydEAZAUmr3EeELs7QEl/?app=fbl
