Forest Folk Festival Contest - Prompt 3: Lantern Parade
Here's my entry for the Draw a Day contest by @cabalen the theme is Lantern Parade, and I wanted to show a group of forest folk having a fun moment together.
The oldest and wisest of the group leads the parade. She has a beautiful lantern shaped like a glowing lotus flower see how curious her face is looking at the flower lantern. Behind her are other forest folk. There is a little mushroom person, someone with an eggplant on their head, and other fun characters. They each carry lanterns shaped like different fruits, like glowing oranges, pears, lemon and raspberries.
I had a lot of fun drawing these cute characters and their special lanterns. I hope you like my interpretation of the theme. It's exciting to be part of the Draw a Day contest and community. Good luck to everyone
the lanterns and the parade goers are all looking cute. I love how you are able to use the effects of light on those lanterns.

you should create a collection my dear and maybe give these lovely creatures their names and maybe a little back story they are simply adorable
