My little though for the Ladies of Hive Community Contest #200

#english
How do you handle failure and what do you learn from it?

Undoubtedly the topic of the #LadiesOfHiveCommunityContest200 is deep and interesting and forces us to reflect on what we consider failure and the lessons we can learn from each of them.

Today's society did a good job in homogenizing and standardizing even dreams. It is assumed that all people should have the same goals and achievements, so many of those who follow their own path are considered failures for not having or being what society considers they should have or be.

This is why we should consider failure as a simple part of the process of living, since perfection is a utopia that only generates anxiety and frustration.

From mistakes and "failures" we learn and reach success, whatever it may represent for us. If at the first stumble every person would lower their arms and stop trying, today we would not have everything we have in the modern world, we would not even have a light bulb, because to reach what we have today, creators and scientists must go through hundreds or thousands of failed processes to achieve the desired result. Then, why should we have to pretend to achieve what we want without previous failures?

Failure, therefore, should not be considered something that makes us failures, unless we stop pursuing our goals, only then we will be defeated.

Current modern society created a standard and if you don't meet the criteria and hit up to the mark of that standard, you are considered a failure. It's not you who will feel like a failure, it's society who will decide for you, unfortunately. Even scientists failed thousands of times before their invention for the world but the world only remembers the success, nobody talks behind the story. Very well-written post, thanks...

Yes, sadly, society works that way, generating frustration and sorrow. Thanks for your words!
