MERMAID HEALER It has a particular ability where it heals the health of the allies located in the back line that have received damage during a fight, a very useful card in the compositions.
Greetings dear creative artisans, lovers of Splinterlans cards and all forms of inspiration to develop their artistic skills, today I share with you a bodysuit for Barbie, inspired by one of the cards of the game called Mermaid Healer I love sewing and this time I decided to make a miniature garment for my daughter's Barbie, she is a lover of cosplay and makes me happy to please her, so between fabrics I was encouraged to sew by hand this cute outfit.

MERMAID HEALER Posee una habilidad particular donde sana la salud de los aliados situados en la línea trasera que hayan recibido daños durante una pelea, una carta muy útil en las composiciones.
Saludos queridos artesanos creativos, amantes de las cartas de Splinterlans y de todas las formas de inspiración para desarrollar sus habilidades artísticas, el día de hoy les comparto un body para Barbie, inspirada con una de las cartas del juego llamada Mermaid Healer me gusta mucho coser y en esta oportunidad me animé hacer una prenda en miniatura para la Barbie de mi hija, ella es amante de los cosplay y me hace feliz complacerla, así que entre telas me anime a coser a mano este lindo atuendo.

The materials I used were; fabrics with colors related to the card, threads, needle, buttons, scissors, pencil, patterns for guide, and a Barbie.
Los materiales que utilice fueron; telas con colores relacionados con la carta, hilos, aguja, botones, tijera, lápiz, patrones para guía, y una Barbie.

After I had outlined and cut out the bodysuit pieces, I started sewing the front piece with the red stripe.
The front piece has double fabric.
Después de haber remarcado y recortado las piezas del body, empecé a coser la pieza delantera con la franja de color rojo.
La pieza delantera tiene doble tela.

They are 2 front pieces, so that the red fabric stripe would have a nice finished effect, on the top.
Son 2 piezas delanteras, para que la franja de tela roja quedase con un bonito efecto de acabado, en la parte superior.

I only sewed the top part and started sewing the back piece, this one has a U cut to make it easier to put it on Barbie. This piece has a button with a handle to close it.
Then I joined the pieces right sides together and sewed, flipped and started sewing some pieces on both sides at the hips.
Solamente cosí la parte superior y empecé a coser la pieza trasera, esta lleva un corte en U para que fuera más fácil colocársela a la Barbie. Esta pieza lleva un botón con un asa para cerrar.
Luego uni las piezas por los derechos y cosí, voltee y comencé a coser unas piezas a ambos lados a la altura de las caderas.

I finished sewing the bodysuit, and I only needed a few simple garments to complete the cosplay.
Termine de coser el body, y solo me faltaban unas prendas sencillas para completar el cosplay.

With some mesh fabric in black I made a type of pantyhose, taking Barbie's measurements, and folding the fabric in half, I made a centered cut, folded both sides to the center, and sewed with single strand black thread as it is a rather thin and delicate fabric.
Con un poco de tela de malla en negro hice un tipo de panty medias, tomando las medidas a la Barbie, y doblando la tela a la mitad, hice un corte centrado, doble ambos lados al centro, y cosí con hilo negro de una sola hebra por ser una tela bastante delgada y delicada.

To finish I made a green mesh blouse that would be ideal to complete the combination of the cosplay, I dressed Barbie and when my daughter came back, she loved how her Barbie had turned out with this beautiful cosplay, it was a surprise for her.
Doing this kind of project was inspiring, it made me remember when I made clothes for my dolls, those were other times, we did not have the technology we have now, children have other interests; those practices have been lost, girls are not very interested in playing with dolls, and if they have them they do not give them the greatest importance, I see it in my nieces that being younger than my daughter they see my daughter as with mockery because she still loves dolls and cares and keeps them a lot, for my nieces that is history, hahahaha.

Para terminar hice una blusa de malla en verde que sería ideal para completar la combinación del cosplay, vestí la Barbie y cuando mi hija regreso, le encanto como había quedado su Barbie con este hermoso cosplay, fue toda una sorpresa para ella.
Hacer este tipo de proyecto fue inspirador, me hizo recordar cuando le hacía las ropas a mis muñecas, eran otros tiempos, no teníamos la tecnología que hay ahora, los niños tienen otros intereses; esas prácticas se han ido perdiendo, las niñas no les llama mucho la atención jugar con muñecas, y si las tienen no le dan la mayor importancia, lo veo en mis sobrinas que siendo menores que mi hija ven a mi hija como con burla porque ella todavía es amante de las muñecas y las cuida y conserva mucho, para mis sobrinas eso pasó a la historia, jajajaja.
