Welcome to this week’s edition of the RUNE guessing game! As always, we're excited to see your predictions for where RUNE's price will land by the end of next Sunday. Let's take a moment to review what happened with RUNE over the past week.
It was a fairly volatile week, with RUNE's price oscillating between $2.90 and $3.50. Starting around $3.00, we saw a strong upward movement on August 9th, pushing the price above $3.40. However, this rally was short-lived, and RUNE quickly retraced, dipping below $3.10 on August 11th. The last few days have seen a bit of a recovery, with the price hovering around the $3.20 to $3.30 range.
This kind of volatility suggests uncertainty in the market, with both bullish and bearish pressures fighting for dominance. Will RUNE continue its climb, or is another dip on the horizon? That’s where your guesses come in!

The Rules.
- provide your tip of the RUNE Price in US$ (Format $X.XX) with two decimals as a comment until Saturday 23:59 CET
- only one tip per account allowed per individual user; multi-account-users shall only comment with one account, multiple comments lead to disqualification
- the tip that is closest to the reference price will win the weekly price
- if there are two tips equally near to the winning value, the one that is given earlier is the winning one
- a tip that is precisely on the spot with the reference price will win the Jackpot
- the reference price will be taken from Coingecko; (see the following reference)
and rounded to two decimals - prices are transferred directly to the winning account before publishing the next weekly post
- winners are announced in the respective section of the next game post

It seems like THEMARKYMARK is dealing with some personal drama and mental issues, which might be causing them to spam us and others with baby pics, GIFs, and questionable content he's been doing the same for years. The fun doesn't stop there, as this seems to be a recurring theme with multiple online personas. The real question is, do we want to trust these drama-magnets with our hard-earned funds or any significant influence on Hive?
