Daigendark Surveyor Splinterlands Weekly Art Contest Fanart

Hello! How are you? For my entry for this week, I chose Daigendark Surveyor. I like the color of her hair, and I have been eyeing her for weeks. It's her time to shine.

I used marker details as my brush, and it took me one layer to achieve this line art. To make the line art clean, I adjust the stabilization of the brush.

Using the shape fill brush, I added the base color of the character and made sure that they had their layer to make the rendering easier.

For this part, I still used the shape fill brush to add the base shadows to each part. This makes it easier to use a soft brush so that I know where the shadow is.

Next, I lower the opacity and start blurring the base color I added earlier using the filter Gaussian blur. I am starting to add base highlights, too.

For this part, I am starting to add little by little details like her hair.

For this part, I started to add the background design, I decided to add a water-like shape. I just did what I did to the earlier step, adding shadow, hues, color, and highlights.

For the final, I added glow behind the water and blurred it to make the subject the center.
