[WE 167] House chores is not for one

Men and their ego, I don't know if that husband title is something that important because they valued it a lot. Being the head of the family doesn't mean they should not be helpful but no, since they are the husband they can't do anything again.

I remembered when we first got married, he was so caring and helpful, he helped me a lot of things in the house at time we will wash the clothes together, sometimes, he will volunteer to be the one to cook and most of the time he will help me arrange the house while I wash the clothes and everything is going smoothly. The only chore that he doesn't like to do then is washing dish.

After giving birth to my baby, he was still helpful but after three months, my husband changed. He is no longer helping me with anything, I have to do all the chores alone. I will cook, wash dishes, wash clothes, hang the clothes and almost everything.

I complained many times but he did not make attempt to do anything, giving excuse of being tired from work and all. Before, when we first moved to where we are living now, their pumping machine is not working and I have to fetch the well water Everytime I want to use water but in order not to stress myself everyday I dedicated every Saturday to fetch the big water drum that I have that will serve for at least 6 days.

I will fetch the water, wash the clothes, take care of the baby and still expect me to cook quickly when I'm not a machine so I started looking for a strategy to use in order for him to do part of the work but I couldn't find any.

One day when I was fetching water, the second bucket that I will fetch, I felt my back holding me and I gave to stop for a while. When he saw me holding my back, I was so worry and asked no to stop fetching water, since that day he was the one fetching water, iron and hang his clothes whenever I washed the clothes.

My husband is a great cook but anytime he cook, he always mess the kitchen up which a double work for me. Anytime he said he wanted to cook, I will not ask him not to cook but I will prepare myself for the work I will do after.

As for the sex part, my husband does not fall for that trick. He will just told you to stay on your own and he will stay on his own if you think you can use that to get me to do the work for you, instead of that I will just pretend that I'm in pain and he will do it without even been told.
