A few days ago, I answered the Question of the week hosted by Hiveph asking what I am anticipating for this year. Oh, that excited me, as this is the best year for me in my entire three decades of existence. Seeing the Question asked by @joanstewart made me feel that excitement again.

Any major changes planned for 2024, or continuing as in the past?
Let us know what you see that requires change in your country, region, or home.

There were no major changes but rather a continuation of what was on my list for this year. The stars were aligned and made me lucky for the year 2024. Yes, finally! As I shared here in the community about my pregnancy, my husband and I have been waiting for years!

Just this month, I visited my OBgyne for this month check-up, and that was the first time I saw our angel look like a baby. Not only a heartbeat but shaped like a human. Also, I witnessed with my naked eye how active he was! Oh YES HE, as I had a strong feeling this was a bouncing baby boy. He kept on swimming back and forth inside my tummy so that my OB couldn't capture a decent photo.

This is the best angle; you can see how active he was here on my Twitter.

On top of all the plan, he was ensuring he was eating appropriately inside and delivering safely. Though honestly, it was not easy considering this is my first pregnancy and I am alone, I always sure give my best. The husband and I already planned from the budget to what and when to purchase everything needed for his convenience.

Even me leaving my job after the delivery. Imagine working for a decade. You did your best to have a decent job but ended up giving it up. Yes, that's what we are mothers. It may be sad on the other part as I was used to having my own money, but then I am sure I won't regret it. Not now that the Lord gave us a chance to be a parent.

As I mentioned, my hometown was too far from where I settled.

I was planning to invite my parents for a vacation in our home this year. That is for them to know that I am perfectly fine even though I am miles away. Also, that would be a great chance for my Mom to visit her sister, as it's been years since they last saw each other. My only dilemma now is when. When I gave birth or by this December?

That is also one on my list. In God's grace, hubby will be going home for vacation that month. Then, hoping everything was well so we could baptize our baby.

Ah, so many great plans for this year; even the Christmas and New Year's décor and outfit were already on my mind.😆. Please bear with me as I was just so excited, for the past years of our marriage, it's this year that we will be celebrating as FAMILY.

Hello to all ladies in this community, it's been a while since I haven't joined the weekly contest. I'm glad I finally managed to write one, and this is my entry for LOH #168.

Wahhhh, I can feel your happiness. Although there are things you need to sacrifice but for his sake no, that's the best thing to do. I hope kapag mas lumaki pa tiyan mo is may makasama kana sa house mo. Why not ask your Mom to have a vacation there now. Di ba kaya pang matagalan?

My in-laws' house is just a few steps away from us, so I could ask for help anytime .

Ah, I was thinking nga, but if my mom would enjoy staying here, then there would be no problem 😁

Congratulations to you and your husband 👏

Amen to that. I was in a similar situation 15 years ago. I quit my job after my eldest was born. It was a tough decision but it was worth all the struggles throughout the years. My husband and I tried for almost 5 years before we had our first child.
