My 2025 Hive Journey: On the Road to 100K HP & February HPUD (ENG/ITA)

Today is February 1, 2024 and for so many months now I have chosen the first day of each month to share my progress, my thoughts about Hive and my participation in the Hive Power Up Day and today I continue with this which I consider a good habit to self-motivate me and hopefully also to motivate my readers.

The month of January was a very good month for Hive because there were new listings on exchanges and because, even if only for a few days, the HIVE token was at the top of the trending coins of highly visited sites such as Coinmarketcap from which I took the next screenshot on January 6, 2025.

On January 7, 2025 the HIVE token reached a value above $0.66 and then stabilized around a value of $0.40.

Looking at the 1-year chart and using a bit of imagination and fantasy, we can say that the HIVE token has moved out of the red lake and into the green mountains. :)

In my personal opinion the current value of the HIVE token but also the value of $0.66 are too underestimated values (this is not a financial advice) because the intrinsic value of Hive should be much much higher because Hive has so many utilities and has a high level of decentralization.

My goals on Hive for the year 2025 and my progress.

Setting a goal is the first step to achieving it!

I am on Hive since March 5, 2019, and I have always set monthly and annual growth goals because Hive is my favorite blockchain platform and I want to increase my weight and influence on Hive.

On Hive there are HIVE tokens and HBD tokens but it is only the staked form of HIVE tokens = Hive Power (HP) that measures the influence of a Hive account.

Therefore, my main goal for 2025 is to increase my Hive Power and I will try to reach an amount of 100K HP by the end of the year.

I shared and set all my annual goals on Hive in the post I published on January 2, 2025: My 2024 Hive Recap + My 2025 Hive Goals!

Today February 1, 2025, I have 77027.16 HP in my Hive Wallet.

To monitor my progress toward my annual goal but especially to self-motivate myself at each beginning of the month, I built a table in which:

  • I mark at the beginning of each month my monthly Hive Power increments
  • I set a goal for the current month that will be bigger or smaller based on my results in the previous month.

January was a good month for the purpose of my annual goal because:

  • I increased my Hive Power by +2108.42 HP
  • I met and exceeded my monthly goal which was 2090.11 HP.

I still have to accumulate 22972.84 HP in 11 months while the goal I have to try to reach in February is +2088.44 HP.

At the beginning of the year I also set other goals and in this post I also explain why I chose each of these goals.

In 2025 I would like to:

  • Publish at least 300 posts (in 2024 I published 281 posts).
  • Maintain a Comments/Posts ratio > 20 = Write at least 20 comments for each of my posts.

I chose this goal because:

  • consistency in publishing is one of the important factors in growing on Hive.
  • interaction is a very important element on Hive

If I don't read and comment on other authors' posts why should other authors read and comment on mine?

During the month of January, I wrote 558 comments and published 31 posts.

Since I have been on Hive, I had never been able to publish a post on every day of the month, and for the first time, during the month of January, I succeeded and received my first badge at https://hivebuzz.me/@libertycrypto27

There is always a first time! :)

Instead I need to improve my Comments/Posts ratio because in January it was 18 while my goal is to exceed a value of 20.

Another goal I want to achieve in 2025 is maintain my non-delegate Hive Power always above 75% of my total HP.

My motivation for choosing this goal is simple: Why should other authors support me if I do not support other authors?

I often see active authors on Hive who delegate 90%-100% of their HP and in my opinion make a mistake that is counterproductive for them in the medium to long term because they lose the opportunity to build connections and build a future support base...

My non-delegated HP is over 80 percent, so that's okay because I'm respecting the self-rule I gave myself.

The other goals I set at the beginning of the year that I would like to achieve in 2025 are:

  • Try to enter the top 200 of the Hivers with the most HP.
    On January 1, I was in 248th place while today I am in 226th place .

  • Support at least 80 different authors on a weekly basis
    In the last 7 days I have supported 106 different accounts with my upvotes

  • Participate in all Hive Power Up Days in 2025.
    I haven't missed a HPUD since August 2022

Today I made a Hive Power Up much smaller than my previous power ups (+31 HP) because during the month of January I invested in some Hive-based games but I received my second Power Up badge of 2025 at https://hivebuzz.me/@libertycrypto27

In 2025 it will be challenging and fun to try to reach my Hive goals because posting, interacting on Hive, and playing Hive Games are activities that I enjoy doing so much!

The Hive blockchain is more Unique than Rare!

What makes Hive's blockchain more unique than rare are its peculiarities:

  • Hive is a Delegate Proof of Stake (DPOS) blockchain on which a large ecosystem of sites, projects and communities "lives".

  • Hive is completely decentralized

  • Hive is very fast: 3 second block speeds.

  • Hive has no transaction costs

  • Hive has many utilities and features

  • Hive has a big and beautiful community

Il Mio Viaggio su Hive nel 2025: Sulla Strada per 100K HP e la Mia Partecipazione al February HPUD

Oggi è il 1 febbraio 2024 ed è da tanti mesi che ho scelto il primo giorno di ogni mese per condividere i miei progressi, le mie considerazioni su Hive e la mia partecipazione al Hive Power Up Day e anche oggi continuo con questa che considero una buona abitudine per automotivarmi e spero anche per motivare i miei lettori.

Il mese di gennaio è stato un mese molto positivo per Hive perchè ci sono stati nuovi listing su exchange e perchè, anche se per pochi giorni, il token HIVE è stato al primo posto della trending coins di siti molto visitati come ad esempio Coinmarketcap da cui ho preso il prossimo screenshot in data 6 gennaio 2025.

Il 7 gennaio 2025 il token HIVE ha raggiunto un valore superiore a 0.66$ per poi stabilizzarsi intorno ad un valore di 0.40$.

Guardando al grafico di 1 anno e usando un pò di immaginazione e fantasia possiamo dire che il token HIVE è uscito dal lago rosso per salire sulle montagne verdi. :)

Secondo la mia personale opinione il valore attuale del token HIVE ma anche il valore di 0.66$ sono valori troppo sottostimati (non è un consiglio finanziario) perchè il valore intrinseco di Hive dovrebbe essere molto molto più alto perchè Hive ha tante utilità e ha un alto livello di decentralizzazione.

I miei obiettivi su Hive per l'anno 2025 e i miei progressi

Fissare un obiettivo è il primo passo per raggiungerlo!

Sono su Hive dal 5 marzo 2019 e ho sempre fissato obiettivi di crescita mensili e annuali perchè Hive è la mia piattaforma blockchain preferita e voglio aumentare il mio peso e la mia influenza su Hive.

Su Hive ci sono i token HIVE e i token HBD ma è solo la forma staked dei token HIVE = Hive Power (HP) che misura l'influenza di un Hive account.

Per questo motivo il mio obiettivo principale per il 2025 è aumentare il mio Hive Power e cercherò di raggiungere un quantitativo di 100K HP entro la fine dell'anno.

Ho condiviso e fissato tutti i miei obiettivi annuali su Hive nel post che ho pubblicato il 2 gennaio 2025: My 2024 Hive Recap + My 2025 Hive Goals!

Oggi 1 febbraio 2025, nel mio Hive Wallet ho 77027.16 HP

Per monitorare i miei progressi verso il mio obiettivo annuale ma soprattutto per automotivarmi ad ogni inizio mese ho costruito una tabella in cui:

  • segno ad ogni inizio mese i miei incrementi mensili di Hive Power
  • fisso un obiettivo mensile che sarà più grande o più piccolo in base ai miei risultati nel mese precedente.

Il mese di gennaio è stato un mese positivo ai fini del mio obiettivo annuale perchè:

  • ho aumentato il mio Hive Power di +2108.42 HP
  • ho raggiunto e superato il mio obiettivo mensile che era di 2090.11 HP

Devo accumulare ancora 22972.84 HP in 11 mesi mentre l'obiettivo che devo cercare di raggiungere a febbraio è di +2088.44 HP.

A inizio anno ho fissato anche altri obiettivi e in questo post ti spiego anche il perchè ho scelto ognuno dei prossimi obiettivi.

Nel 2025 mi piacerebbe:

  • Pubblicare almeno 300 post (nel 2024 ho pubblicato 281 post).
  • Mantenere un rapporto Comments/Posts > 20 = Scrivere almeno 20 commenti per ogni mio post

Ho scelto questo obiettivi perchè:

  • la consistenza nella pubblicazione è uno dei fattori importanti per crescere su Hive.
  • l'interazione è un elemento molto importante su Hive

Se non leggo e commento i post degli altri autori perchè gli altri autori dovrebbero leggere e commentare i miei?

Durante il mese di gennaio ho scritto 558 commenti e ho pubblicato 31 post.

Da quando sono su Hive non ero mai stato in grado di pubblicare un post in ogni giorno del mese e per la prima volta, durante il mese di gennaio, ci sono riuscito e ho ricevuto il mio primo badge su https://hivebuzz.me/@libertycrypto27

C'è sempre una prima volta! :)

Invece devo migliorare il mio rapporto Comments/Posts perchè nel mese di gennaio è stato di 18 mentre il mio obiettivo è superare un valore di 20.

Un altro obiettivo che devo raggiungere nel 2025 è mantenere il mio Hive Power non delegato sempre sopra al 75% del mio HP totale.

La motivazione per cui ho scelto questo obiettivo è semplice: Perchè gli altri autori devono supportarmi se io non supporto gli altri autori?

Spesso vedo autori attivi su Hive che delegano il 90%-100% del proprio HP e secondo me fanno un errore controproducente per loro nel medio-lungo periodo perchè perdono la possibilità di costruire connessioni e di costruire una base di supporto futuro...

Il mio HP non delegato è oltre l'80% e quindi va bene così perchè sto rispettando l'auto-regola che mi sono dato.

Gli altri obiettivi che ho fissato ad inizio anno e che mi piacerebbe raggiungere nel 2025 sono:

  • Provare ad entrare nella top 200 degli Hivers con più HP
    Il primo gennaio ero al 248° posto mentre oggi sono al 226° posto .

  • Supportare almeno 80 autori diversi su base settimanale
    Negli ultimi 7 giorni ho supportato con i miei upvotes 106 accounts diversi

Oggi ho fatto un Hive Power Up molto più piccolo dei miei precedenti power up (+31 HP) perchè durante il mese di gennaio ho investito in alcuni Hive-based games ma ho comunque ricevuto il mio secondo Power Up badge del 2025 su https://hivebuzz.me/@libertycrypto27

Grandissimo inizio! Oltre 2000 HP in un mese e 31 post non era assolutamente facile: come si dice, chi ben inizia è a metà dell'opera :)

Vedere quel picco di HIVE a 0.66$ è davvero soddisfacente, anche se speriamo sia stato solo un assaggio di quello che ci riserverà il 2025!

Wanting to use my imagination again, I hope that at the top of a mountain, sooner or later, Hive will find an airplane to fly higher and higher and look at lakes and mountains more and more from above :)

Happy HPUD and nice progress. I like that you were able to get past your goal for the month. I think its better to have your own HP to vote on others. I personally want a 5% vote above the dust threshold before even considering delegating. After all, you have to reward the people who you want to vote for.

Congratulations on your goals and power-up. I honestly think there's nothing that beats accumulating Hive and enjoying the Curation that comes with it. Yeah, even at 37 to 38 cents I want to truly agree that we've left the danger area and waiting to see when the next pump will happen

I like this. Especially at 300+ posts in 2025. But I like that you set a ratio for comments based on the number of posts published.

Interaction is important on Hive and since it is also a goal of mine I like to monitor it and the comments/posts ratio is a useful indicator that shows me, month after month, if I am doing well or if I need to interact more

Yep, I have my own own target for comments made, but yours is interesting for making it a ratio between posts published and comments made. Mine would come somewhere at 11-12 comments to 1 post, if I achieve both targets exactly as they are. I've tried higher comment numbers in previous two years and failed to achieve my target.

Great goals, and making it all the way to 100K looks like a tough road, but it is doable. The dip in Hive might be to our benefit as we both are trying to increase that HP! I also like the concept of having 75% undelegated to support others in voting. I'm trying to get myself there as well and should be there in just a few months.
