Good morning, Daily Blog friends! How are you feeling this Thursday? Buenos Aires is sunny, it's the weekend and I'm looking forward to enjoy the autumn weather. Today I'm having an emotional morning, so I'm here to tell you about my happiness yesterday. Yes, yesterday! The radio I listen to via streaming, called OLGA, did a very cool event and there I ventured.

¡Buen día, amigos de Daily Blog! ¿Cómo se encuentran este jueves? Buenos Aires está soleado, acompaña las ganas de que sea fin de semana y disfrutar el clima otoñal. Hoy que estoy teniendo una mañana emocional, vengo a contarles mi felicidad de ayer. Sí, ayer mismo! La radio que escucho por streaming, llamada OLGA, hizo un evento muy genial y allí me aventuré.
The radio, as I said, works online. They are mostly young people or at least, in tune with the new generations. They, with their different types of programs, humor, jokes and excellent professionals in various subjects, accompany me in my mornings and some afternoons.

La radio, como ya dije, funciona online. Ellos son en su mayoría personas jóvenes o cuanto menos, en sintonía con las nuevas generaciones. Ellos, con sus diferentes tipos de programas, humor, chistes y excelentes profesionales en diversos temas, me acompañan mis mañanas y algunas tardes.
The thing is that May 1st is a Labor Day holiday, so no work is done. On the radio I have already heard many jokes about "how little they work", how few hours they work, and how some of them do not work at all. that they don't work enough hours, that some days they don't go, etc. Then it became a code with the listeners, since we do not work all year, this date we work for you, those who can never come, come to the door, we are going to do a free recital.

La cuestión es que 1ro de Mayo es feriado por el día del trabajador, entonces no se trabaja. En la radio escuché muchos chistes ya sobre “lo poco que trabajan” , que son pocas horas, que algunos días no van, etc. Entonces se volvió un código con los oyentes, ya que no trabajamos en todo el año, esta fecha trabajamos para vos, los que nunca pueden venir, que vengan a la puerta, vamos a hacer un recital gratis.
The program was from 9 am to 3 pm and the bands were various and of very different styles. From national rock, the one I used to listen to years ago, like El Bordo, Turf, Kapanga or Las pastillas del abuelo, new rock bands, which have very cool styles, like El kuelgue or Cruzando el charco, and others that were out of the norm, like cumbia with Yerba Brava. It was totally surprising, the street was completely full of people and we sold out in a very short time.

La programación era de 9 a 15hs y las bandas eran varias y de estilos muy variados. Desde rock nacional, el que yo escuchaba hace años, como El Bordo, Turf, Kapanga o Las pastillas del abuelo, bandas de rock nuevas, que tienen estilos muy geniales, como El kuelgue o Cruzando el charco, y otras que se salían de la norma, como cumbia con Yerba Brava. Fue totalmente sorpresivo, estaba la calle llena de gente totalmente y agotamos la capacidad en muy poco tiempo.

The stage was not very big or very high, and being in the street, we looked for the middle to jump a little, because on the sides the trees (big or small) hid our view of the stage. There was a smoke show, a radio program as well, while the artists were getting comfortable and everything, they made notes, comments, and entertained us to pass the time.

El escenario no era muy grande ni muy alto, y estando en la calle, buscamos el medio para ir a saltar un poco, porque en los costados los árboles (grandes o pequeños) nos ocultaban la vista hacia el escenario. Hubo show de humo, programa de radio también, mientras los artistas se acomodan y todo, hicieron notas, comentarios, y nos entretuvieron para pasar el rato.
It was a bit chilly, clearly the arrival of the month of May was noticeable. Luckily the public transportation worked quite well, despite being a holiday, and the people, the public in general, were very friendly, like an ordinary recital, where if there is a person who feels bad, the strangers who are close by, take care of each other. I like the communion that exists in the public of my country, because we are like that, companions, united, friends, even if we do not know each other.

Hizo un poco de frío, claramente la llegada del mes de Mayo se hizo notar. Por suerte el transporte público funcionaba bastante bien, pese a ser feriado, y la gente, el público en general, muy amable, entre todos, como un recital corriente, donde si hay una persona que se siente mal, los desconocidos que se encuentran cerca, se cuidan entre todos. Me gusta la comunión que existe en el público de mi país, porque somos así, compañeros, unidos, amigos, aunque no nos conozcamos.

We jumped, we sang, we drank mates, and we were hot and cold, haha a little bit of everything, in a morning that could have been very very boring. We had a great time, there was a little bit of everything, and at the same time, my social anxiety rests when I find myself in a place I enjoy, with friendly people and receive good vibes, simply because, whether a child, or an adult, we are all here to enjoy.

Saltamos, cantamos, tomamos mates, y tuvimos frío y calor, jaja un poco de todo, en una mañana que podría haber sido muy muy aburrida. La pasamos genial, hubo un poco de todo, y a su vez, mi ansiedad social descansa cuando me encuentro en un lugar que disfruto, con gente amable y recibo buena onda, simplemente porque, ya sea un niño, o un adulto, todos estamos aquí para disfrutar.

My mind went to two people who gladdened my going out on the adventure of being an audience and listening to live bands, an older gentleman, dressed in a leather jacket, very old school, dancing cumbia and smiling very big. That gentleman gave me years of life. Just like a little girl with rolling bangs, petting a dog and singing to the rhythm of Las Pastillas del Abuelo. When I see new generations singing what I used to sing when I was a teenager, it makes me think that all is not lost, some still value and teach their children the values of music, the events for all audiences and the good vibes of having a beautiful day together.

Mi mente se fue con dos personas que alegraron mi salida a la aventura de ser público y escuchar bandas en vivo, un señor mayor, vestido con un saco de cuero, muy de vieja escuela, bailando cumbia y sonriendo muy grande. Ese señor me dio años de vida. Igual que una niña con flequillo rollinga, que acariciaba un perro y cantaba al ritmo de Las Pastillas del Abuelo. Cuando veo nuevas generaciones cantar lo que yo pregonaba en mi adolescencia, me hace pensar que no todo está perdido, algunos todavía valoran y enseñan a sus hijos, los valores de la música, los eventos para todo público y la buena onda de llevar una jornada hermosa entre todos.
