En esta oportunidad les vengo a contar un poco sobre los planes de vacaciones que tengo para los próximos meses y es que a finales de julio salgo de vacaciones de mi trabajo y desde ahora me encuentro haciendo planes, la verdad es que tengo tres sitios a los cuales quiero ir pero a veces una cosa es la expectativa y otra es la realidad, es por ello que debo ajustar un poco mis ganas y el plan que mas predomina es ir a visitar a mi hermana a su estado.
Debo acotar que para visitarla tendré que subirme a un bus y hacer una ruta de 12 horas y luego hacer transbordo por 10 horas más para llegar a mi destino, creo que va a ser un poco tedioso el viaje y tal vez me quede sin la parte menor, medio y mayor de mi glúteo por estar sentada tantas horas a un asiento, pero adquiriré fuerzas porque no solo voy para conocer la casa de mi hermana ya que nunca he estado allí sino que voy a conocer este hermoso lugar tan lejano de mí.
El lugar en cuestión es una hermosa tierra caliente con un inmenso lago por delante, donde los que son coterráneos conmigo entenderán este extracto de una canción: “… y empiezo a pasar el puente, siento una emoción tan grande que se me nubla la mente, siento un nudo en la garganta y el corazón se me salta y sin querer estoy llorando” esta es parte de una canción icono de este estado, si, ya diste con la respuesta, es Maracaibo, una tierra donde el sol sale con todo su esplendor, donde las gaitas resuenan y la gastronomía es deliciosa.
Espero pasear sus calles cuando el ocaso se ponga y conocer un poco de la cultura del maracucho, visitar sus hermosas casitas decoradas con un estilo muy peculiar y tradicional con sus grandes ventanales y diversos colores que dan vida al lugar, escuchar un poco de las gaitas marabinas que nos hace recordar los meses decembrinos y visitar el lago de Maracaibo que es el símbolo de este estado y es el único lago de agua dulce que tiene salida al mar y es único en el mundo, es increíble, ¿no lo crees?
En cuanto a mí, tal vez regrese a casa con algunos kilos demás ya que mi hermana me comenta que la comida de los puestos en la calle comúnmente llamada comida callejera, tiene un sabor espectacular y lo mejor es que las raciones son bastante generosas uno de los platillos que más quiero probar son los patacones y las empanaditas marabinas-
Tengo bastante ilusión de pasear por la parte colonial de la ciudad y poder sacar fotografías de cada uno de los rincones más bonitos que nos ofrece Maracaibo, además de visitar sus lugares históricos y más renombrados del lugar así como su hermosa naturaleza, espero conocer cada rincón del estado Zulia si el destino así lo quiere.
No todas son salidas, tengo planeado charlar largas horas con mi hermana y mi sobrina para tratar de rememorar los viejos tiempos y crear recuerdos especiales con ellas, aunque debo recalcar que espero que el tiempo de lluvia toque este rincón del planeta para que disipe todo el calor que suele hacer allá que veces llega hasta los 45 grados centígrados.
Este es mi boceto de viaje que espero se cumpla si Dios quiere, así que más se le puede pedir a la vida que pasar un mes entero en un lugar mágico en compañía de mis seres queridos para recordar en el tiempo y rememorar a través de lindas fotografías.

I must point out that to visit her I will have to get on a bus and make a route of 12 hours and then transfer for 10 hours more to reach my destination, I think it will be a bit tedious trip and maybe I will be left without the smallest, middle and largest part of my buttock for sitting so many hours in a seat, but I will gain strength because not only I am going to know my sister's house since I have never been there but I will know this beautiful place so far away from me.
The place in question is a beautiful hot land with a huge lake in front of it, where those who are my fellow countrymen will understand this excerpt from a song: ‘... and I start to cross the bridge, I feel such a great emotion that my mind is clouded, I feel a lump in my throat and my heart skips a beat and without wanting to I am crying’ this is part of an iconic song of this state, yes, you got the answer, it is Maracaibo, a land where the sun rises with all its splendour, where the gaitas resound and the gastronomy is delicious.
I hope to walk its streets when the sun sets and get to know a little of the culture of Maracucho, visit its beautiful houses decorated with a very peculiar and traditional style with its large windows and different colours that give life to the place, listen to some of the gaitas marabinas that reminds us of the Christmas months and visit the Maracaibo Lake which is the symbol of this state and is the only freshwater lake that has an outlet to the sea and is unique in the world, it is incredible, don't you think so?
As for me, I may return home with a few extra kilos because my sister tells me that the food from the street stalls, commonly called street food, tastes spectacular and the best thing is that the portions are quite generous - one of the dishes I want to try the most are the patacones and the empanaditas marabinas.
I'm looking forward to walking around the colonial part of the city and taking pictures of each of the most beautiful corners that Maracaibo offers us, as well as visiting its historical and most renowned places as well as its beautiful nature. I hope to visit every corner of the state of Zulia if destiny wants me to.
Not all are outings, I plan to chat for long hours with my sister and my niece to try to remember the old times and create special memories with them, although I must emphasize that I hope that the rainy weather touches this corner of the planet to dissipate all the heat that usually makes there that sometimes reaches up to 45 degrees Celsius.
This is my sketch of a trip that I hope will come true, God willing, so what more could I ask from life than to spend a whole month in a magical place in the company of my loved ones to remember in time and reminisce through beautiful photographs.

Whew 45 Celsius, It has never reached that hot up here. I think the record for Vancouver Canada is never been more than 35 Celsius.
