even though I am a little bit disappointed to not win with either of my two entries.. what were the criteria to win?!.. to know for the next time what I can do better?

Cheer up! in the next one there is also a chance to win! i see that both posts are very interesting and the second one whets the appetite even in the afterlife (everything looks scrumptious) 👌🏼
Maybe your entries leaned more towards a gastronomic art category and that's why they were a bit detached from the DIY. Maybe, it's just a theory...

Not sure I will compete again, as my creativity mostly goes towards culinary and decorations... seems like I maybe have to find another community for that. - But it was still fun so totally worth it ☀️😎
